"Complete waste of time"

Is this from that same series as the beloved SNES games? I can't believe how much they butchered this game. They tried to make it like Pokemon, but Pokemon is 1000x better than this. They also tried to make it like Final Fantasy and that didn't work either. The last level reminds me of Final Fantasy 2's last level, only worst. It tries to be a lot of things and end up being a piece of crap. This is quite possibility the worst RPG I've ever play. I'm not gonna got into the details about music, story and graphics. I will however tell you why this game sucked so bad.

Here a question...what's the point of a run option when you can't even run? This is just one of many annoying aspects of the game. This game is tedium defined. The battles are HORRIBLY S L O W. Even a simple battle takes forever to complete. Got 3 enemies on screen? There goes 2-3 minutes of your life. How can a simple move like octo-strike (3 hits) take 20 seconds to complete? It's only 3 simple hits, right? I timed it, the interval better each attack is like 5 seconds. Some of the attacks have way too many frames of animation, especially when you try to catch a monster. Throw a disc and it'll give you enough time to go to the bathroom. That's how bad it is.

The game has terrible balance. Leveling up is insanely slow. Simple battles takes forever. Some enemies are too strong. This game actually makes me want random battles...because you can actually run away from random battles. The enemies in this game comes after you and there is almost no way to escape them. There is no way to stun them like previous games. level design is terrible. It sometimes has multiple paths, but it ends up confusing the player and leads to unnecessary battles. Did I mention you have to repeat some levels like 3 times? There is almost nothing good about this game. The story sucks, the graphic sucks and the gameplay is ugly. I gave it a 2 because the music is a little decent.

You're probably wondering how I finished this game if I think it sucked so much. VBA on frame skip 9, and a whole bunch of cheat codes. After I beat it, I immediately deleted it and got rid of the this piece of filth.
