"Mega Man is still good, but he's declining."

Story: 8/10 It's another one of those ''Mega Man! There's netcrime! Let's stop it!'' stories. I would give it a 5, but it has some other things added on, as well. It certainly does get annoying, same story every time...

Game-play: 9/10 This game is really fun. You'll enjoy just collecting everything much more than you will enjoy advancing the plot. There's so much you can do, and it's always so much fun. For a while I couldn't get myself to do anything but try to get chips!

Control: 10/10 The control is smooth and quick. Everything works really well. It's so easy to attack with a chip and then immediately start using your buster. Maybe it is just the great design of the GBA/SP, put this game uses it's control perfectly, even if that is the reason. It is just perfect.

Difficulty: 7/10 It's harder than the previous Battle Networks, and one of the best parts of the series was it's perfect difficulty level. Some times you'll find yourself with everything possible to get, and you won't be able to defeat the next boss. I really didn't like this, because it took the fun out of advancing the plot.

Graphics: 9/10 Really great graphics. Nearly everything in the game looks smooth, not blocky. But in some cases it does get blocky, and I didn't like that. There is one thing I really hated, but I can't mention it. It's a spoiler. I liked the glowing effects they put on some of the objects. It was a really nice touch.

Sound: 10/10 You will humming this music for a long time after you put the game down. Probably along with a midi from some site. The music is that good. Also, all the sound effects fit well with what it is supposed to be. There isn't a thing in the world that could improve the sound. In other words: The opening theme is great, and everything after it is great, too.

Re-playability: 4/10 This really hurt the game. You probably won't finish the game even once, because you'll get tired of it. If you do play it multiple times, I'd be very surprised. The game just isn't good in this field. You will probably spend a day collecting items, and only half a day actually playing the game. Then you'll put it down and walk back to it (possibly) the next time you get bored.

Buy or Rent? Buy it if you want everything Mega Man or Battle Network or anything of the sort. Otherwise, rent it. You will most likely only play it for a while. If you loved the other Battle Networks, this will probably be a disappointment to you, too.
