"From the big screen to a hand-held. Will the reputation keep up?"

Hey I bought this game and found it was a great game....if you want to keep yourself frusturated. It can be good for some people but for others it's ''BLAH!'' This is why:

Summary on game: You are a little (choice of 4) monkey and you must guide him/her around the presented course of 3 difficulty levels. You score points on your preformence and once you get a certain amount of points you get to unlock hidden mini-games. The mini-games persist of: Monkey Bowling, Monkey Golf, and Monkey Fight. There is one two player mini-game which you only need one game pak, but two GBA's and one Link cable, this would be Monkey Duel. The difficulty levels are, Beginner (10 stages), Advanced (20 stages), Expert (30 stages) and the hidden 5 stage Master floor. Each of the stages have DIFFERENT levels and the point is to make it from the start to the finish in the elapsed amount of time. In simpler terms:
MAKE IT FROM POINT A TO POINT B

Graphics: 8/10 The graphics are a little blocky but nothing that will keep you from wanting to travel from floor to floor, what may stop you is the:

Gameplay: 4/10 Because there are no joysticks on the GBA It is definatley harder then the GCN game. This is the category in which will really frusturate you. You forcers you no to be able to go on angles with out turning. From here though things can only improve with:

Music: 9/10 Sega will always have good music. With Rayman, Sonic and now SMB they mever fail to give you that warming sound of Sega. And now the:

Replay Value: 8/10 The fact that you can always unlock new mini-games and that there are always multiple difficulty levels it is always a great game to come back to. Just remember that the Gameplay makes it much harder to unlock new areas of play. Finally would you:

Rent/Buy: RENT! Even if you are a die-hard Sega fan I would definatley rent this game. (if only I knew) I would rather pay 5 bucks for a game I hate then 30 dollars for a game I hate. Though of course you might like it and then it would be an extra 5 dollars. Unless you vowed to yourself to buy every Sega game in the world I would try to rent this game first.

Recap:

Graphics: 8
Gameplay: 4
Music: 9
Replay Value: 8
Rent/Buy: RENT!

Overall rating: 7.25
