"Megaman.exe is back..."

Megaman is finally back to the GBA, but how does it match up to the other games? Have no fear, the gameplay of the Megaman Battle Network series is back, and better than ever.

Graphics-8/10
The graphics in this game are actually pretty good. They are not amazing like Golden Sun's but they are still great. You can see everything very clearly, and there is no slowdown or anything like that. Although there are some very small mistakes, there is nothing major, and you shouldn't really even notice.

Sound/Music-7/10
The music here is nothing special, but it is still pretty decent. The sound is the thing that brings this up a bit, as it is good and clear. Each chip has its own sounds, but the battle music is kind of annoying after a while. Overall, it is alright, and certainly much better than other games.

Gameplay-10/10
The gameplay in this game is just pure awesome. Instead of the origonal megaman gameplay, this is more of an action RPG. The battles take place on a 6x3 grid, with you operating on 3x3 squares, and the enemy on the other half. At the beginning of each battle a menu comes up with 5 battle chips that allow to perform powerful attacks, alternate the playing field, ect. You can also use your megabuster. After playing the game for a while, Megaman.exe will eventually get a style. You can only use 1 at a time, but they are great help. They allow you to perform elemental charged shots and other special functions. It never really gets boring, as you are constantly moving.

Replay-8/10
The replay in this game is pretty good. Once you beat it, you can continue collecting battle chips, master new styles, and do more quests. You can also fight all the bosses. As said before, the battles are very fun, so you should be able to beat this game 2-3 times before it starts to loose its luster.

Overall-9/10
This is a great game for RPG, or action gamers. Old megaman fans may also enjoy this, as there are many appearences from old bosses from megaman games, but I won't spoil anything. This is one of the best games on the GameBoy Advance, get it ASAP. The series just keeps getting better and better, so hop on the bandwagon and prepare for a good time. I can garuntee that you will not only like it, but you will buy the other MMBN games and wait in agony for a fourth.
