Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced

Introduction

Welcome to Polar555\'s Review of Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. I\'ve been a huge Crash fan in the past (Notice POLAR 555) but now I\'m kinda not but this game is like Naughty Dogs Crash games but no 3D platforming levels.

Graphics
They\'re like the Donkey Kong Country graphic pretty good but used way too much. The detection is way off in the atlasphere levels though but its all good.

Sound
Well they reused all the old Crash song in this so I always listen to a CD Player when I play this cause I\'m sick of the music. It\'s also the same for the sounds but the sounds are good though.

Game play
Well it\'s the same as Huge Adventure except different players the wakeboarding is the when you\'re on Polar and the space levels are like the jetpack levels. But there are 2 new things in this the magic carpet and the helipack parts in the level. They\'re there but they seem like they\'re from another game they aren\'t fun though. Here come the atlasphere levels from Wrath of Cortex THESE LEVELS SUCK! they were fun in Wrath but not in this. They use the Tony Hawk engine but ON VERTS YOU GO UP NOT OFF! That drove me so crazy! I always fell off on the verts they\'re so annoying!

Car Sick Factor
Well Polar here has a weak stomach in the car when reading and playing Gameboys so I have to watch which games I play in the car. The Platforming in this game give me barely any car sickness but the atlasphere give me car sickness so I get to wait till we stop and beat those levels.

Closing Comments
The game is fun for all except Atlasphere levels. Also the story just seams to be there to link the levels together if there wasn\'t a story the only reason I would miss it is to wonder why I\'m fighting coco and where was Cortex. The levels are all ripped off of the console versions but I don\'t mind its more Crash Bandicoot game come on the only two games of Crash Bandicoot I don\'t like are Crash Bash and the loading times in Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex.

Buy or Rent
I\'d say rent unless you like to buy Crash games like me or want a Donkey Kong type game or just want to add to your GBA library.
