"Battle Network 3 : A Mega Man RPG"

I Just recently picked up Mega Man Battle Network 3, My first thoughts of this game were: \'\'A Mega Man RPG! WTF! But after playing through it, well, this game rocks!

Story 8/10

The story of this game is independent from the traditional Mega Man storyline, as are the other Batlle Network games.
You are Lan, an elementary school student from ACDC Town. Aside from going to school and doing other normal kid stuff, You help keep Cyberspace safe from Net Criminals. In order to do so, you use an internet cyber-buddy called a Navi. that Navi is Mega Man.

Graphics: 8/10

The graphics in Battle Network 3 are typical gba fare. The characters and animations as well as environments are well done. It has a nice anime-ish feel to it. The Battle animations are cool looking and the overall feel of the game is very futuristic.

Gameplay: 10/10: a little different from typical RPGs. In this game, you have two different dimensions, the Normal World and Cyberspace. You control Lan in the normal world as you talk to the various people around you to gather info and collect items. In Cyberspace you are Mega Man, using your wits and trusty arm cannon to purge the Net of evil. In order to switch between characters, Lan has to Jack-in to the various machines throughout the world, and vice versa.

The Battles are unique and fun. When a battle ensues, you must first select battle chips to aid you in the fight, then you actively move on the battlefield blasting your foes. The quicker you kill your enemies, the more spoils you earn. There are lots of battle chips to be collected as you play, as well as navi customizer parts to make Mega Man stronger. Be wary though, this isn\'t a \'\'kill-fest\'\' you will have to use strategy against tougher enemies and bosses. Unlike tpyical RPGs, You do not \'\'level up\'\' but you use a program called Navi Customizer to enhance abilities and raise stats

Replay Value 7/10: Once you finish this game, you probably won\'t want to play through it twice, but you never know! One of the coolest things is you can trade battle chips with your friends. There are 2 versions of this game, White and Blue. They\'re both the same game but have uniqe battle chips to each version.

Conclusion: If you\'re a Mega Man fan, or a fan of action RPGs, give this a try. This game is Mega-fun!

Last words: Buy. This. Game.
