"One of the funnest RPG's yet"

Game play: 8/10
The game play in the two version of this game (Rokusho and Medabee) was based on a kid running around robattling everyone he can find and stopping the RubberRobo gang. While also getting all the medaparts, medals, and facing every robattler is the main objective. So in this you must do the trade routine between the 2 versions until you have gained all the parts, and medals. The gameplay is enjoyable enough to make it all worth it either when you level up into the next medal stage or when you get a new part, it makes it all worth playing for hours at a time.

Story: 8/10
The story contains to nature of a kid named Ikki or whatever name you choose for your character, going everywhere with a girl named Erika to adventure around, and stop the evil everywhere. The story is explained to you very quickly in the beginning, and then you start playing the game itself.

Audio/Video: 10/10
The audio part of this game was just like any other, except I loved the theme song to the TV show, and they play a verse of the song in the start up menu. The battle and background music was like any other, a nice melody for the background outside of battle, but a speeded up version in battles.

The video was actually pretty cool compared to the past version of medabots, a dark figure show in the start up, and the peoples faces and expressions in the dialogue. The animation in the shoot/aim shot sights; extend the graphics to the point where you can see the bitmap portion. Besides the bitmap flaws, the battle video was good, specialty moves had their up and downs, and if you watch real close when you strike your opponent you'll see this awesome ball in different colors for different moves if it's a bomb, and the rest gives what it promises.

Another thing I would like to add is that in the start up menu there is an option to choose a type of music you want to listen to in the game, and the choice to have a caption in battles or not, the first option though, controls the amount of time in the battles

Replayabilty: 9/10
There are points in this game when you have to choose between different parts, medals, etc. and when you make that choice it sticks for a large remainder of the game, things people say make you wonder if they would say something other if you were stronger or weaker, the number one reason of replayabilty for this game mainly is if you mess up a lot and threes no way you can get past a certain point without slaving for hours to be stronger. The replayabilty is fun since you know a portion of what you're doing to a certain point. It makes the gaming experience even better when you get past that certain point.

Buying the game/Renting the game: 7/10
I'm not even sure if this game can be rented since it's GBA, but if you can it's not worth it, because you wont have nearly enough time to complete a portion of it, I do see the irony of renting it just get the medals over an over again to earn all of them, but you still won't get a chance for the game play. I bought both versions for like 25-30 dollars each so that's a normal price for this game, and it's worth it. As far as I’m concerned, this game cannot be duplicated, but it can be then it's definitely worth it.
