Love Hina Advance: Shukufuku no Kane wa Harukana

Review by Starkin Warrior

"Interesting and Boring at the Same Time. Oh Yeah its Funny too"

Love Hina Advance in my opinion could be a lot better. Here we have is a life simulation of some boy lying to a bunch of girls and his grandmothers frat house. Yeah that happens a lot in the real world. I only advise this game if you can speak Japanese.

Length: 5/10
Nothing special here. The Only reason this didn't get a 2 is that you can get 8 different endings, which can occupy your time as it did mine, but still after a while it all gets repetitive.

Replayability: 6/10
Well as I said because there are multiple endings there is some replayability here, as you can always choose different options and watch your character get hurt... or loved... depends on your mood and if your brain is working.

Story: 10/10
Here is where this game is better. Its a story that you will most likely never see again in a story, making it unique and individual, something you never seem to see this game as everything seems based on some other game made in the past. And since one different answer can change the outcome in the game, there may be 8 endings but there is easily 30 routes to each ending which is an interesting twist rarely seem. Its quite an amazing aspect.

Originality: 9/10
Very original concept, which I have seen in one other game, and even though this type of game I call a ''different answers for different results'' game is most likely shown in many other games, the individuality of what's going on is amazing.

Strategy: 7/10
Not much is needed, cunning and a brain is needed more then anything else to figure out this game.

Controls: 9/10
The controls are easy. Press A to select an answer. Yippie! Sometimes you move around, but there's nothing special here, at least its easy to get a hang of, thank goodness because some games a real button mashers and we all need a break.

Laughs: 10/10
If you can read it you will laugh, heck if you can't read it you will laugh. This game is hilarious, simple as that. Especially when the ninja girl whacks ya with her fighting stick a few thousand times.

In conclusion, I'd say this is quite an interesting game. Lets have a recap of the scores:

Length: 5/10
Replayability: 6/10
Story: 10/10
Originality: 9/10
Strategy: 7/10
Controls: 9/10
Laughs: 10/10

*drumroll* And now for the average score, a:
8/10!

Rent or buy?

Rent it first, then buy if you think you really want it. I can't really recommend either way.
