"Graphics are good and thats about it"

The first time I played this game I thought it was really cool. So I borrowed this game from my nephew (who is 5 years old) and took it home and played it. In about 10 minutes I got to the 4th mission and everything started to go downhill. It was just the same thing every mission. So here is my review so we can get into more detail.

Graphics 7/10

The only good thing about the game. The graphics are pretty good for a GameBoy Advance, but it could have improved. That's pretty much the only reason why I kind of liked the game but everything else is terrible.

Controls 4/10

The controls are not bad, but there only about 5 things you can do. You can Jump with A, Use your sword with B and if you hold it down it does a charge attack but it takes WAY to long, R is to block and L is to sprint while walking. Oh yeah, you can do an attack when you jump in the air and that's it. I expected a lot more....

Storyline 2/10

You know what? There is no storyline, you do these little things for each mission, usually rescue a person or fight a boss or both in one mission. I think that's a little stupid. And the game is very short (maybe as short as WarioWorld), so its pretty bogus. This could have improved in a lot of ways.

Gameplay 1/10

Ok, now this is where I really get to bag the game. Lets start off with monsters. Every single one you fight you will be annoyed. Its take about 5-10 shots with your sword to kill a guy, and then you got to kill 10 others! And the gems that you pick up are pretty much pointless. If you pick them all up then beat the level, you to this thing where you have to pick up a certain amount of gems in a certain amount of time and you get one life. A life is not that much in this game because if you jump across to different platform, and if miss by a little tiny bit, you lose a life. Boring....... And fighting a boss is......I wont go into it. But let me tell you this. DO NOT GO OUT AND BUY THIS GAME!

Replay Value 3/10

Bad replay value too. Once you beat the game, your done. You got pretty much nothing left to do. And the game is very short, only 12 missions to do......sigh.... I wont get in to much detail on this subject.

Buy or Rent?

I suggest you don't waste your money and don't even go out and rent it. Or if you want to beat it, and you are a He-Man fan, then go and rent it. But if you just see it at your local video store where you can rent it, just keep on walking because you wont like it. So don't waste even $2 on this game.
