Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire
Review by The RabidCheat
"Pokemon does it again"
Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire does it again. The mother, pinball, and the father, Pokemon, make a very fun child. Pokemon Pinball has been kept me quite busy for the last few days.
Graphics 10
The graphics are wonderful, the pokeball (which is a pinball) almost looks 3d and the animation is very nice. When you hit three bumpers consecutively while you are trying to reveal a pokemon, a small clip of the bumper pokemon zap the one you are trying to catch.
Sound 10
The sound is cheery and can be catchy at times. However, if you play for a long time, it gets annoying, but you can always shut it off. Pikachu and Pichu also talk if the ball lands on them, and every time you catch a pokemon you hear its ''cry''.
Story Line 1
Pinball is pinball, it doesn't really have a story line. All you do is try to catch 205 pokemon. They could have added a storyline that Professor Oak wants you to go and catch all the pokemon. And maybe after you catch a certain amount (10, 20, 30, etc...) you could get new powerups. Anyway, this game is good with no storyline.
Gameplay 9
Very, very good gameplay. It's easy to learn how to play, and it's also easy to aim. The only problems is unlike its predecessor, it doesn't have the rumble, and the tilt isn't that good.
Replay Value 10
So much replay value. You could try to beat your old score, or try catching all 205 pokemon. And if you do that, you could always erase the game (I think by pressing R and L and something else).
Other 9
A pokedex is in the game which tell how many pokemon you've seen and caught, and information about the pokemon that have been caught. To make this game better, they could have added some mini-games.
Fun factor 9
I went to help my sister move in for college and I took this game in the 3 hour car ride. I kept playing and playing and rarely ever got bored. There are three things you can do, get high scores, capture all pokemon, or both. I recommend this game to anyone that likes Pokemon or pinball or anyone that wants fun :).

I recommend this game to anyone and if you think it's kiddy, well you don't know how to have fun. If you don't like Pokemon but like pinball, give this game a chance, you won't be disappointed.
