Yo. This is my first review. First, we tackle the new Yu-Gi-Oh game, Worldwide Edition.

GAMEPLAY: Yeah, this is one of its best points. In the beginning, this game seems fresh and new, completely different from its predecessor, Eternal Duelist Soul. First off, it has three “Starter Deck packs to start off the game. They all really stink, because they have quite a few level 7 2-tribute monsters with low ATK. Each deck has 41 cards, not even a fraction of the thousands of cards in the game. Just when you think you have all the cards in the game, you really only have a small fraction -_-!. That’s a challenge that will take months, maybe even a year to beat. You get to duel against a lot of the characters from the TV show. Not only that, it’ll take quite a while to get every character out and beat them. There are several booster packs. The way to get many of those packs is to build up your Duel Points and beat duelists or beat a certain duelist. The dueling itself is basically the same as if you really play in real life, except for you don’t have to spend mass amounts of money to get all the good cards. Just when you think the game is getting really dull and stale, a fresh new challenge, booster pack, or character pops up. There are many new cards, including the entire Labyrinth of Nightmare set, the Premium Packs, and some other goodies from future sets are also thrown in. Also, the game is very colorful, which leads me to the next part of this rating page.
GAME PLAY RATING: 8/10

GRAPHICS: The graphics of this game are just like it's predecesor, Eternal Duelist Soul. The graphics are just almost exactly the same, but with a little tweaking. All of the cards are still as detailed if not better than before. The animation of Exodia and the Destiny board is quite interesting, and doesn't lack the full potential of what the GBA can handle. Next, the dueling backgrounds. The new change in this game is it's wallpaper during the duels, unlike Eternal Duelist Soul, it changes with the different field you put on, where the field may vary. THis seems quite interesting and has a very nice effect. The characters themselves seem detailed enough, although I do not mind it, you may. The only downside that I see in graphics is probably the map itself, as it is quite dull and unchanging. The graphics overall I must say deserve at least an 8.
GRAPHICS RATING: 8/10

STORYLINE: This game has very little or no storyline whatsoever. It's all based on one thing, and once it's finished all you can really do is duel. I will not say what the storyline is because basically I would give away the only little 4 minute sequences, and that would be a spoiler. Overall I would give it a 4.
STORYLINE RATING: 4/10

REPLAYABILITY: The replay value of this game is overrated, although you can play it for the soul purpose of making it perfect it is quite useless as it gets very tedious and boring. On the other-hand, it is quite fun to create new decks and play your friends, it's replay value is quite great but it does not deserve a perfect 10.
REPLAYABILITY RATING: 8/10

BUY OR RENT: This game is for buying, if you go for the replay value. If however you choose just to finish the storyline (dare I ask why you would do that?), then it is for renting as it is quite short. Overall I would say this game is one to buy just because it's fun to play against your friends and dish out different decks.
