DemiKids: Dark Version

"This is a good game"

When I first heard of the name of this game, I thought it wasn't going to be very good, but after playing it,I couldn't stop myself from loving it. I thought the game would be boring like its game intro but it was fun. It is also really mature and cool. Here's why:

Story: 9/10

This game like a Darker more mature version of Pokemon. You control a kid named Akira and you have to run around fighting ''demons'' in order to save the world from ''time holes'' that will stop the future from occurring.

Gameplay: 7/10

This game is really awesome. The battles are standard form with a control for attacking, defending, switching, and the rest of the normal RPG battle menu. However, a cool little feature is the ''recruit'' button. This allows you to ask a demon to join your party. However, there is a big risk associated with this. If the demon refuses to join, it attacks you without using its turn. Don't worry about that, the higher level you are, the more likely you will get them to join you. I love the idea of the Demiloc. Basically, you use the standard Demiloc to summon 2 Demons. However, as you progress in your game, you're allowed to summon 3 Demons and that makes battles that much more fun. In addition, I also thought the Demon fuse was cool. This allows you to take recruited demons and fuse them together to create new, stronger monsters, or fuse them with your guide demon and make him grow stronger.

Graphics: 6/10

The graphics in this game are alright. The problems I have with the graphics are that they draw the people and demons too small on the screen. It is hard to see everyone. Other than that, it is good. I like the way the grassland and the mountains look.

Sounds: 8/10

The sounds are superb. This is one of the best sound system I've seen since the Golden Sun series. I catch myself humming some of these songs while daydreaming. However, the battle songs can be improved on a little, and some irritating songs can be removed.

Overall: 7-10

This game is so good. It is addicting and it has great gameplay. The sound is also really good and it makes up for the graphics. This is a great game to BUY for any person. It is a must have for any RPG player.
