"Doesn't live up to World Wide Edition."

I recently bought this game yesterday and it still confuses me why the gameplay changed from WWE.

Story: Your a new duelist who is friends with Yugi and his companions. As a duelist, you have to obtain locater cards to advance in the story. You challenge famous people from the tv show and later on do other missions.
7/10. It's exactly like the tv shows story, but it isn't bad.

Graphics: Graphics are better than any other Yu Gi Oh game for the handheld system. Instead of dueling people by selecting their faces, you walk around variety of places and talk to people to challenge them. The graphics just look exactly like Dragonball Z legacy of goku. The sprite detail is well drawn and the card images look good compared to any other yu gi oh game for gba. There aren't any special visual effects from cards, but that doesn't affect the graphics at all.
9/10

Controls: Err, the controls are crap compared to WWE and ED. There will be a menu when u press ''A'' when your monster is on the field. THhe only problem with that is that there are 5 options to choose from! Other than that, the rest is alright. Finding monsters (in your trunk)might take a long time to find though because it's unorganized.
8/10

Gameplay: It's unique but it isn't great. It'll confuses people who just started the game. People who played WWE, ED, DM7 will quickly recognize the gameplay and the layout dramitically changed. Summoning monsters slightly changed. You have to select a monster on the field and press sacrifice on it, and select a monster on ur bench and summon it. The gameplay takes a huge fall here. You can't start off with a good deck in the beginning. You get 1 star monsters basically and 3 magic and trap cards total. You can't add level 4 monsters because your deck has a point number at the top. If a monster exceeds the total point level of your deck, then you can't put that monster in there. It'll take a LOOOONNNG time to get enough points to put 1 level 4 monster in your deck! Level 5/6 monsters require less points for some odd reason. Also a lot of effect monsters are gone. I don't even know HOW TO USE AN EFFECT FOR A MONSTER! There are pathetic cards (Unforgiving maiden 0/100,) Magician of faith is horrible as well, because her effect is gone >_<.
4/10. Konami needs to use the rpg effect with the wwe gameplay.

Sound/Music. Music is average. Nothing memorable. There are sounds when you get rid of a monster, but again nothing memorable. The music is mediocre. It isn't as good as MMBN's music. Best if you have a cd player and mute your gba.
6/10

Overall: 33/50= 66/100= 66% 66-> 70% 70/100-> 7/10

Final Thoughts: This game could of got a 6. I prefer DM7 and WWE more than this. The only good part of this game is the adventure part (walking around)
If the game had WWE gameplay and more cards and the adventure gameplay, this game would be perfect.
