"Neo Arcadia's back, and Zero has some new tricks for them..."

Megaman Zero 2 is the sequel to Megaman Zero for the Game Boy Advance. It revolves around Zero, a reploid over one hundred years old, who suspended himself until he was needed again. Ciel, a scientist for the reploid army, brought Zero back to life to help fight against the Neo Arcadia. A year has past since Zero brought peace back to the reploid army, and now he is needed again, once more to fight the Neo Arcadia.

Gameplay - 8/10
If you have played the previous Megaman Zero, this shouldn't be too complicated to play. The controls are much like the first, with some adjustability to suit your play-style. For a beginner, this game could be hard, and they may need some practice with platform shooters. Of course, as you progress, the areas will become gradually harder, but there are multiple levels to choose from at the beginning, so choose which ones you will play wisely, as you may not be able to complete one without practice in another.

Graphics and Sound - 9/10
The levels in this game are quite detailed, and the pictures used in each cut-scene are excellently done. The music, weapons and character voices all sound clean and crisp, and give you a real feeling for the game. Text is very easy to read, being large and clear. Characters all have their own actions, and movement looks quite good for a game this size. Most actions have their own sounds, and more than one sound can be heard at one time, giving a better environment for gameplay.

Play Time/Replay Value - 8/10
One of the main tasks involves collecting all the 'Cyber Elves' in each area. This isn't usually completed in the first run of a game, and some are only available at certain times. This gives a great reason to keep playing this after defeating the final boss, as well as trying to upgrade all your equipment to its maximum stats. Running through the game is not an option, as the enemies will keep you busy in a level. This game will keep you sitting there for hours, and possibly many more after you have already completed it.

Final Thoughts
If you are a fan of Megaman, you should definitely buy this. If you aren't a fan, this game is still worth buying. If you haven't played the first Megaman Zero game, you should get that first, just so you know the main background behind the story. This game, no matter what age you are, will keep you entertained for a long time.
