"Your usual Power Rangers game"

The Power Rangers... You all know who they are. After movies and dozens of new series, games were bound to appear. None of them were very good. All of the games were designed for little children, but weren't enough to please even them. The games became better, but still aren't good enough for anyone to say they're good.

Gameplay - 7/10
In all Power Rangers games, the gameplay is the same. You choose a ranger, or a group, and walk around, using your weapons, punching or kicking to kill hordes of enemies. Then you fight a boss monster, and afterwards comes the classic Megazord fight, in which you use huge robots to fight giant versions of the enemy. In this game, you can choose between two rangers, three rangers, or a single ranger. Each of the groups has different weapons and abilities. You can switch between the rangers you chose at any given time, except in Megazord fights (in which you control all of the ones you selected). There's a Special meter that fills up as you kill enemies, and when it's filled your character's special attack can be used. Some boxes in the stages' floor drop different weapons. Each group of rangers has a main weapon they start with and a secondary weapon that can be found. In the Megazord battles, the goal is to press the right buttons before the opponent to launch an attack. The gameplay is pretty fun overall.

Story - 8/10
It follows the story from the Ninja Storm series. Some monsters appear, they cause trouble, you beat up the bad guys they send after you, and beat the monsters up. It's not deep, but heck, it's not that bad besides being repetitive. The Power Rangers series have thousands of fans all over the world, and some of them like it because of the story. So it can't be so bad.

Graphics - 2/10
Terrible. Like the ones in 90% of the GBA kiddy games. Almost a NES game in terms of visual coolness.

Sound & Music - 5/10
Not as bad as the graphics, but still... The sounds don't sound real, they sound quite weird, and the music is extremely repetitive.

Controls - 7/10
The response is a bit slow, but not that much. Some of the jumps are almost impossible. Otherwise, the controls are acceptable.

Replay - 5/10
The only reason why you'd want to replay this would be to finish it with all the characters, and that won't give you bragging rights...

Final Score - 4/10
Don't even think of buying this. But consider renting the game if you like Final Fight style ones or if you're a fan of the Power Rangers. The score is low, but the game is worth playing if you don't care about graphics and music like most GBA players (the ones who haven't played Golden Sun).
