"Sonic goes fighter once again"

The latest Sonic game with fighting since Sonic Championship for the arcade and Sonic Shuffles fighting mini game. Oh and another thing some people use bad language in this which seems odd and out of place.
Story 9/10
The game starts off by Sonic having a battle with Rouge and a Robot. Sonic and Tails afterword learn that he's powered with Chaos Emeralds like Chaos from Sonic Adventure. After that they need everybody's help to fix it and it goes on.
Gameplay 10/10
Sonic has fists of fury. Not really. You will run around towns and forests to little circles where you can enter a building or talk to someone and get into a fight. Once your in a fight it feels exactly like Power Stone 4 people team or free for all battles. You have three buttons to use in the fight attack, gaurd, special. And everyone has their own special way of winning. Like Sonic is fast and can double jump. Tails has a strong gaurd and can fly. Knuckles has a powerful attack and glides and so on. After some fights you'll get a card. This card can upload into Emerlz which is the robot to have him use attacks from all the people in the game. The fighting system is like a frag fest. You have a certain amount of lives to lose before you lose the battle all together.
Graphics 9/10
Sonic Advance type graphics. Except for the backgrounds and level design. When your fighting your in a arena like area where you might get lost behind the various buildings and what not in the arena. But you can hit gaurd and the view will change to where you can see you and everyone else. Also some of the arena's are blocky which looks a little strange but its all good.
Controls 10/10
Easy to learn controls give it a ten. You'll learn how to pull off comobos from your friends and you can hit a,b, and r to fight your enemies. I don't know why L isn't used. A is your main attack. B is gaurd. And R is special. The various combos are easy to pull off except for R supers you have to hit r and hit certain buttons in a certain order to pull off the best specials that do the most damage.
Sound 9/10
The music might get a little bit annoying and the voices don't sound to clear but besides that its great.
Overall 9/10
A fun new Sonic game that takes a whole different approach to the series. I give it a nine out of ten.
