"The Scacred Cards"

this is my first review of any game on GaemFAQs so it might be a bit choppy. I have gotten every single Yu-gi-oh! video game. so i promise a good review.

Introduction:
Another Yu-gi-oh! game.
I was really looking forward to this because we finally get to use the Egyptian god cards and it's more RPGish because we get to walk around and duel like pokemon. i always liked that sort of freedom and not just menu screen like the last two. the games just kept get better and more detailed. ''The Eternal Duelist Soul'' and ''Stairway to the Destined Duel''. And i was expecting a complete update with cards from the
new sets Legacy of Darkness and Magician's Force. [if anyone plays the real card game]

Onto the Game:
well...write when i booted it up the graphics were not too impressive espcially when you have to contend with how good Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby looks. but it was neat to see mini-versions of Yugi, Joey, Tea, and the others. What i would like to see is a variety in the close up shots like when they are talking to you. like with Mokuba they use the same one when he's happy, sad, etc...

Gameplay:
The gameplay is nothing like what i expected. I suspected from the look of the new game mat but i wasn't expecting a remake of Dark Duel Stories! ehhh..not that that was a totally horrible game, but with how good the last two GBA games were...this is such a dissapointment. They make the cards that we duelists respect and admire in the real TCG and dumbed downed their powers. Like the All-Mighty Blue Eyes White Dragon can be destroyed by monster with 200 attack. or like they removed their affects like Injection Fairy Lily doesn't have an affect at all! Do not fix what isn't broken! I hope they never make another Yugioh! game with this type of gameplay. =/

Pros:
-They did add some cool effects to monsters. Like Revival Jam can split into two. Monster advantage is always goods.
-The duels are nice and quick. It was good for me since i didn't really like this game that much. =P
-You can now duel Bonz and his zombies.
-Mini-Versions of your favorite characters
-Egyptian god Cards

Cons:
-remake of an already bad game.
-dumbed down the powers of favorite cards
-Dialogue. The dialogue didn't feel/sound like they should like in the Anime. and they always talk with full names as if they weren't friends for so long.
-may drive away people from Yugioh if this is their first game.

Final Words:
Although it wasn't the best game. There is nothing like using a god card for the first time.

Konami's a great company. Don't Dissapoint us again.
