The Hobbit

"Not worth the money-AT ALL"

To start this off this is a game based on J.R.R.TOLKIEN's ''The Hobbit'' book, witch is WAY better than the game. The story of a hobbit on an adventure, dragons, goblins, etc. And if you played the game don't hate the book, it's a good book (what compelled me to buy the game)This game just destroys the reputation of J.R.R. OK enough about background time to get to the disgusting part.

Story: 6/10
Even though it follows ''The Hobbit'' it still sucks, Witch is hard to do. The reason for all this suckieness is your frustration will have you cussing at your Game Boy within hours. trust me.

Graphics: 5/10
During this game I ran into about 300,000 graphical errors. Including rockets going through walls, key items turning invisible, things im posed to search for looking EXACTLY like all the other things in the environment. even though the actual graphics aren't bad, the repetitivness is. there's only about 6 diferent enemy graphics in the game, the rest are just different colors.

Sound: 7/10
Not much to say here, average sound, a little repetitive and some parts are annoying. One part I liked is the grunts the little hobbit makes during the game. (hey I couldn't ONLY talk crap about the game).

Freedom: 2/10
This is where the game STARTS to fall. It's strictly go from A to B. there's maybe two miniquests, wich are VERY short. there's no level growing system, no point editors for your character, no secret items, NO NOTHING! This game is DULL!

Gameplay: 2/10
If the game REALLY falls. Only 12 items in the game, and all them are similar,food and healin water, throwing rocks and sling shot rocks and darts and spores-I'm seeing double! The worst part is the in some parts you they take you ALL the way back to your save point for being caught, VERY ANNOYING. And if you forget a password or something- you can't go back to get it, YOU HAVE TO START A NEW FILE!.
If you dont get caught, don't forget our passwords, and make your way around the visual glitches, this game takes about 2-3 hours. Otherwise it's about 10 hours of the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

Replayability: 0/10
What can I say, you beat it- you live with a not worthwhile game.

Overall: 3/10
Don't buy this, I'd rather see your money spent on 30 McDonalds 0.99 burgers. You might figure I'll sell it after the 5 hours of frustration- good luck finding someone stupid enough to buy it is all I have to say.
