Love Hina Advance: Shukufuku no Kane wa Harukana
Review by Mykas0
"Hum, I'm sure I've already seen that girl somewhere..."
Introduction
Although this game could firstly sound as one of those hentai games for computer, after playing it you will discover that it doesn't have anything of those silly games... Actually, it's a quite funny game, although it may become boring if you don't understand what you are doing... Mainly it means that, if you don't understand japanese, you won't like this game...
Gameplay
This game is really easy to play, since you just have to pick your option from a list of 2 up to 5 options. If you pick the best one, nice things will happen, but if you don't, then bad things will happen, like you being punched and loosing one of your lives... Well, at the bottom of the screen you will be able to spot some yellow balls, those are the lives you still have, but you can increase the maximum number of balls across the game and/or recharge those you had already lost. However, based on your choices you will increase (or decrease) the feelings of a certain girl about you, making them like you or even hate you. This turns to be important in some places, but not so much important in others. Also, depending on your choices at a certain point, you will be able to spot an ending sequence for a certain girl or another one. There will also happen some mini-games across the story, making this game even funnier and interesting. Unfortunatly, as I already said this game is only avaliable in japanese language, so anyone who doesn't know how to read japanese won't fully enjoy this game.
Story
Like in the anime, you will be controlling a boy who just failed in his test to enter Tokyo University, which he wanted to enter due to a promise that he made to a certain girl in his youth. Will he be able to find that girl and enter the university that he is willing to? It's up to you, to find that...
Graphics/Sound
Both the graphics and the sound are nice... The graphics for all the characters look exactly like the ones from the anime, and that means niceeeeeee. As for the sound, despite it's good, sometimes you may get bored of it, so it's better to turn it off.
Play Time/Replayability
It may seem to be easy to finish this game at first, but it gets really hard to get a certain ending when you want to. Also, there's an image gallery and a ending gallery for you to complete, granting this game an extra play time and replay value.
Final Recommendation
If you liked the series and you know how to read japanese, you should consider getting this game.
