Naruto: Konoha Senki
Review by Mykas0
"Fans will love it!"
Introduction
Some years ago, people watched Dragon Ball, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cutey Honey and so on... These days, young people still like to watch anime, but they are more into new series, Naruto being one of them. Of course a game would be released, but after the disappointement that the last game caused, would fans really want this game?
Gameplay
This time you will be able to control the most important characters from the story in a rpg-like game. First you will have to choose where you want to go next (easy choice, mainly since most of the times you will be able to choose between 2 or 3 places), and once you get there you can get deeper into the story and even face a battle. In those battles, apart from controlling Naruto and 2 of his friends (or combinations of people, depends on the battle!) against a group of enemy guys, you will also be able to collect scrolls, which enable your characters to perform new (and more powerful) moves. When finishing those battles, you will win experience points, which enable you to gain levels (which increase the stats of that specific character) and win a special sphere, which you can put in a location on the character's profile in order to boost the power of one of his moves. There's just a problem... Some battles will prove to be really hard to win, so most of the times you may find yourself just increasing the levels of your characters in order to having any chance of winning that battle.
Story
Actually I never watched the series, but from what other people told me, I think the game has the same story as the anime version.
Graphics/Sound
The graphics look very good for this type of game, as you can clearly watch all the characters and their special moves, as seen on the series. The sound, well... it's not very good, but as usually you can just turn it off before becoming bored with it.
Play Time/Replayability
I guess you will take some time to be able to finish this game, and when you make it, there will be some tasks that you can perform, as unlocking new characters or other modes.
Final Recommendation
If you liked the series, you must get this game. IF you didn't liked it or you never saw it, try it... Although it may be somehow to get these days, it is worth the trouble...
