The Sims Bustin' Out
Review by Loyd
"Splendid Game For Sims Fans"
I just bought this game and I love it! I bought The Sims for PC around 3 or 4 years ago and I liked it very much knowing that it never ends and that I can do whatever I want with my characters.
Then I bought a GameBoy Advance and soon after my friend told me that Sims Bustin' Out was Comin' Out. I rushed to the store and bought the game. I just started playing since I bought it not long ago. This game is very good and very easy to understand. You are a kid and you are given missions or plain orders that you have to follow to go through the game. This game is good for kids and adults. You can even play this game at school since it's on Game boy Advance (of course, only if your teachers allow you to.)
Story: 7/10
You are either a boy or a girl visiting your uncle and you start making a little house inside his barn (must smell very good). Then, Your uncle asks you to help him do stuff and you become a good friend with him. You can also meet other people, make friends and make enemies. The story is okay but it could've been worked on a little bit more.
Gameplay: 9/10
The gameplay is quite easy. You are given orders or missions and then you just execute the order. At the beginning the missions are easy but then it gets harder and sometimes you even have to find someone or something in the city (even chickens). The gameplay is very good because you can make friends and enemies. If you like somebody, you can invite that person to live with you at your house or your barn. You can get money by working for your uncle or by doing small jobs for peoples you meet.
Graphics: 9/10
The graphics are great, you can actually see the character moving and doing moves. You can also see that a character is old, young, small, big etc...
Characters: 8/10
Every character is well built and they all have their interests. If you say something bad to someone then they won't like you and sometimes they will just go away and never talk to you again. Your uncle likes his farm so if you say something bad about his farm he will get angry.
Sounds: 8/10
The sounds are okay but they lack something. Every time you press a button you can hear a little ring and stuff like that. When you walk you can also hear yourself walking. The background music is good and when you talk to somebody they always say ''hum'' that's about the only thing that isn't very good. When you watch television you can hear voices, which I think is a great feature.
Total: 8/10
Should I buy or rent?
I think you should rent the game and if you like it then you should buy the game. I bought it and I'm very happy with it but if you aren't a big fan of the Sims then rent it and check it out.
