Disney's Home on the Range

"We like farms!"

Introduction
Hum, since this title has the ''Disney'' mark it, I could think it was based on some movie or series. However, I never heard of it, so I'm not sure if this is true or not.

Gameplay
Basically you will be in control of some animals from a farm, and each of them has to play each of the levels in a certain way. For example, the horse needs to fight some bad guys (well, those scenes are really funny! plus, you can use some moves that reminds me of a certain movie...) and avoid some obstacles while running across some lands, in order to reach a certain place. When playing with the goat, you will need to play a platform-like game and collect vegetables which grant you special powers, like running really fast, jump higher or even the ability to spit on your opponent (I'm not joking!!!). All this turns this into a quite funny game. However, the game easily gets quite hard, making the kids not able to play it, and I know what I am talking about since i'm more than 15 years old and I had serious problems in getting through some sections of the levels. Finally, when you finish each of the levels you will be presented with some images that seem to be taken from some animated movie or something, but as I already said I can't confirm this.

Story
Some bandits escaped from the prison, and maybe they will try to kidnap the cows (which happen to be your friends!), so you will need to try to protect them and capture all the bandits, with the help of your friends from the farm!

Graphics/Sound
The graphics are not really nice, as you could easily mistake them for some of the most advanced games which appeared in the now apparently dead gameboy color. As for the sound, it isn't very good either, since the themes in the levels always appear to be the same and that makes them quite boring.

Play Time/Replayability
I don't think there's any, so once you have finished this game, you won't have anything else to do...

Final Recommendation
Maybe you should only get this game if you want to have some fun, since this game will surely put a smile on your lips. Also, most kids may enjoy it since this is not a violent game, apart from the funny fights in which the horse can perform moves that seem to be taken from the ''Matrix''.
