The Hobbit

"Not the greatest, but better than most people say"
Introduction - I will admit, this game is perfectly terrible. But not to the point of what most people say it is. It's not THAT incredibly bad. I just borrowed it from a friend and beat it, and I know for sure I won't buy it. But you should at least rent it, and if not that, then, you should try it.
---------------------------
Graphics - 6/10 - The graphics, in general, are auctually QUITE pretty! But what's the problem? Well, let me put it this way. If it was just a picture, it the graphics, for GBA, would've gotten a 10/10. But since that's not the case (the levels aren't just pictures, and that you can walk around :-p), it's a different story. Though it looks good, it's very glitchy. Hands through walls, darts, rocks, anything shot through walls, or over them, though the wall is very much taller then where you shoot it.
That's why it 6/10. It's just plain glitched-out.
---------------------------
Gameplay - 4/10 - Ugh. You gather several items throughout the game. You get around 12-16, I forget exactly how many. But the idea is just TERRIBLE! You bascially only have two or three items. You have rocks, rocks in a sling. Wow, two different items, but in reality, EXACTLY the same =/. And there's spores, darts, etc etc. All the same effect, same thing. You're second items are the Food (heals you). You also have Pure Elven Spring Water (heals you). SAME THING! And lastly, some stick and a stub called a sword, but is hardly a pocket-knife, and the ring. Oh, and a firecracker and rocket, the same.
I didn't really use ANY of the projectiles the WHOLE GAME! I didn't even need the spores. I didn't need the darts. I didn't need the ''Rocks with Sling''. They were all the same! The only one you truly needed to use was the Rocks, and you only use them twice in the game, to hit a switch. Having a lot of fun with all these items, huh?
And if you were thinking of using those projectiles for attacking enemies - bad idea. The bad guys always get to you before you can shoot them, and besides, the projectiles are WEAK against enemies. You can simply slash them with your walking stick/sword, and do a LOT more damage, and not take any damage youself, or shoot the projectiles, take damage yourself, and take a long time to kill enemies.
This just has a problem.
---------------------------
Controls - 8/10 - It's best point, just because it's mainly basic. I don't have much to say on this. In fact, I don't have anything. It's just... basic.
---------------------------
Sound - 5/10 - One word: Annoying.
---------------------------
Overall - 4/10 - Just play through once. Theres no replay. An okay-to-bad game.
