I can't believe the awesome adventures and thrills in this game! Great Pokemon and characters the whole thing! It's better than the first! Also since you get to have 2 on 2 battles and new and improved Pokemon. The characters are sometimes silly and funny at times too. But still, this might be a serious game (but not too serious) at times. This great game just to pick ups and plays. Think about it people, if you pick up this game and play it for a few hours, you would have some of the best with your gba. This new installment is in Pokemon Ruby have improved the flaws and glitches that R/B/Y and G/S/C had. The Battle Tower is much easier. The Elite Four is much more challenging. And the Pokemon Contests are a great thing to do when you are bored, or just when it's raining outside and there is nothing else better to do. Believe, if you pick this game up from the store, you wont be sorry. this is the game to buy, don't miss out on the great RPG fun and adventure!

Graphics: 10/10
Ohh man are these great graphics! The people in this game look even more realistic than G/S/C and R/B/Y. The screen shots and nature of this game make me feel I live in the Hoenn Region. This is one of the best parts of this game. I'm amazed on how the graphics of Pokemon Ruby Version have improved. Since the the graphics have reached a new level. a lot more things are 3D now, so you can't get tired of the horrible graphics.

Story:8/10

I think that the story of this Pokemon game is like all the other ones. Beat the Elite Four catch all the Pokemon. Don't you think that there should be another and more unique story line in the world of Pokemon? There are some features in this game that are new like the Pokemon Contests and 2 on 2 battles. But come on. There should be a new type of Pokemon master. Or a game that focuses on being a Pokemon researcher or breeder. It might be a little boring at times but the game is worth beating and playing over and over again.

Sound:10/10

Pokemon Ruby has awesome sound!!Also when you enter a new town for the first time. Also, when you get to face rivals and legendary Pokemon to catch and battle with. The music for going in the Pokemart and Pokemon gyms are even greater. It's so cool for every city and route that you explore there is a new song waiting to be played. Sometimes I use headphones to dance to the game. And no I'm not as abnormal as you think i am. I just love the music so much!!! The melody is good don't you think? But no I don't dance to it.

Pokemon:8/10

This is the best part of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, the Pokemon. All the Pokemon. Catch them all and training them to level 100 will also keep you busy. Different Pokemon such as Blaziken and Sceptile will start you off on your journey. Along the way you'll meet different and strange people on your quest to become a Pokemon master. But then again, catching all the Pokemon must be boring. Or is you have a lot fo time on your hands. Or just a rainy day when you have nothing better to do.

Challenge:10/10

This game have a lot of challenges and struggles. Going in different caves and battling trainers who have some of the best pokemon out there. Facing Pokemon off all types will be difficult, but if I can do it, so can you. The battle Tower is the major challenge in this game. You will face new Pokemon that might not even be in your version.

Battles:10/10

You would predict that these battles would be fun and games right? WRONG. There are tough and I mean tough Pokemon in the wild to catch raise and become the best that they can be. The battles also link with the graphic. These battles can sometime be very hard, but it's worth it to be a pokemon master. Trainers are very important to battle. Team Aqua and Magma will battle you toughly. You must bring your all-time Pokemon to the feild and overcome their pokemon, and their evil ways.

Multiplayer:10/10

Link up with your gameboy friends and have a great time facing friends and foes in your town or across the world. You can trade and battle with your friends to become the ultimate Pokemon master. Remember, you can face friends in the Pokemon contests too. Don't you love the fact that maybe you can have the chance to get back at someone over a Pokemon game? Training your Pokemon to be the best they can be, not only for trainers in the game, but also for people in real life that you would like to face too.

Training:10/10

Now this is the most time spending that you will spend on this game. Training all your Pokemon and catching all 202 will be a long ways to go. Isn't that just plain fun? Spending time on your pokemon, trying to get them to level 100. Also, don't forget about the Pokemon contests. train your Pokemon to compete in trainers who have trained their pokemon as long and hard as you've trained yours. Level 100 is proof that you ARE a Pokemon master and you have trained for a long, hard journey into making the Pokemon the best they could be. And level 100 is a great accomplishment.

Characeters:10/10

Ohhhhh boy are the people in this game nice or what? May, your rival kind of shows you around the Hoenn Region and guides you trough until the middle of your game. But when that hits, you are on your own. The Gym Leaders are different also. Such Gym Leaders like Winona are different too. When you go into different houses talk to the people who live there. It's probably not part of the game bored, talk to everyone in the region that actually makes the game even better. These characters are even more realistic than the other versions? Don't they look more graphical to you? Well, they sure do to me.

Battle Tower:10/10

This is the ultimate challenge really. After you have beaten the Elite Four, you can cross the sea and sail to the Battle Tower. But now, this feature from Pokemon Crystal, is different. Now, the only levels required are 50 level Pokemon and 100 level pokemon. It's a little tougher too. You will face Pokemon that might not even be in your version. Also, you can see starter Pokemon like Swampert. There are also Pokemon from the older versions of Pokemon that might be in the tower.

Legendary Pokemon:8.5/10

The legendary pokemon in this game weren't as good as they were in G/S/C.
But they still deserve a 8.5/10 You will be in shock of the conspiracy when you are getting near to catching Groudon and Kyogre. The legendary pokemon in this game are very strange, but powerful. Certain pokemon you wont be able to catch without a Gameshark. But Latios and Latias are very good catches for your pokemon team. Raquazaa is almost like Mewtwo. But not entirely.

Overall: 10/10

This game is a must-have for all Pokemon fans. Even people who have not played any Pokemon game will love this too. It's great for all ages and all people who love anime. Pokemon has come a long way ever since the late 90's but it's still getting better and better year by year.
