Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2004

"Challenge the Duellists and become the Duel Monsters Champion"
Introduction:
Since more Yu-Gi-Oh cards have been introduced, Konami have developed a more up-to-date GameBoy Advance version of the popular Yu-Gi-Oh franchise. 100 new cards have been added, but is this enough to persuade people to purchase it? Continue reading to find out.
Konami have disposed of the card password feature that they used to have in their previous Yu-Gi-Oh games. You will now have to start your deck from scratch and will have to depend on luck to draw the right cards to win the first few duels of the game. Once you acquire more powerful cards, winning will be easier.
You can now battle against a greater number of duellists. From the start, you can duel Tea, Yugi, Tristan, Trusdale and Bakura. After a while, you'll unlock more powerful duellists like Maximillion Pegasus, Mai Valentine, Rare Hunter, Odion, Marik Ishtar and Seto Kaiba. Eventually, you will be able to duel Yami Bakura, Yami Marik and Yami Yugi as well.
Each duellist now has a theme to his/her deck. For example, Yami Bakura's deck has a Destiny Board theme while Mai's deck has a Harpie theme. There is also a chart which shows a duellist's weaknesses and strengths. Use this to your advantage when you duel them.
Story:
Unlike World Wide Edition, this Yu-Gi-Oh game has no story. You just keep battling duellists until new ones are unlocked.
Graphics:
The duellists are like their anime counterparts, but the duelling screen is dull.
Sounds:
Star 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 duellists each have a different duelling sound. Most of them are nearly the same as the duelling sounds from World Wide Edition.
Score:
I decided to give it 7/10. The game gets boring if you play it all the time, especially when you are trying to unlock duellists like Yami Bakura and Yami Yugi. Leave it for a few days, and you'll want to play it again. Purchase this game only if you don't want to spend money on the trading cards or if you don't have World Wide Edition.
