"Xevious on you GBA! yay!"

Genera: Top view shooter.

Game Play: 7/10
Xevious is a very entertaining game. The goal of Xevious is to clear all the stages. The stages are repetitive but the enemy's aren't, the better you do the more enemy's attack you. This game is fun, and challenging. Xevious is a very simple game.

Graphics: 7/10
It's hard to believe this game is as smooth as it is, Xevious almost never skips or slows. Your ship looks like a flat piece of paper with marks on it. Most of the enemy's look like A.W.O.L. dish's or spinning donuts, some of the enemy's look like stop sign shaped missile silo's & gun turrets.

Sound: 3/10
The sound is clear, but the game doesn't make good sound anyway so being clear doesn't mater. It sounds a lot like Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Missile Command, or Qix. It's steady beeping can become annoying, plus it only has about twenty different noises to annoy you with. Very poor sound, it's better to listen to a radio while you play.

Difficulty: 10/10 !!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of the, if not THE, hardest game ever. The enemy's never end, and there are at least three enemy's shooting almost always. ONE HIT AND IT'S OVER! Thats right, one hit to your ship and you must restart at a check point. There's not many check points either. The boss fights are extremely hard, the bosses have many machine guns and don't go down easy. Luckily if you avoid a boss long enough they leave. However, this game has only a couple of check points per level. This game will make you (or want to) throw your Game-Boy out a window, it's ULTRA hard. This games difficulty is only matched by: R-Type, Gradius, Ikaruga, and a very few other games.

Level lay-out: 5/10
The levels are huge, however they are simple. The levels mostly take place over water, dirt, and grass. The levels are very repetitive and not fun to look at. The levels do not have many different looking area's and are mostly dull and boring.

Replay value: ?/10
This games replay value differers a whole lot from person to person. Someone who loves a challenge may not play the game ever again after beating it. But someone else who also loves a challenge may want to play again and again. Someone who gets bord really easy may not even like the game enough to beat the game, and someone else may beat the game but never play again, or even play it over and over. There's not really anyway to know if you'll love this game or not unless you play the game for yourself.
