The Revenge of Shinobi

"The way of the ninja has failed..."

Intro.
This is honestly the worst GBA game I have ever played. Ninjas are cool but this one is not worthy of mastering the arts of butt-whoop.

Game Play: 1/10

Action titles rock. This one, however, has lack of intensity. You start out with a simple slash and extra combos are bad. Why? They are pretty much the same thing as your starting attack, but you do it faster and you do it three times with little power added. Magic. Yeah. That sounds cool. Yet, it doesn't match all those other magic side-scrolling games.

Graphics: 5/10

Bad. The backgrounds are not clear or detailed. The good thing is that it fits the old Japanese looks of things. Character models are not very good either. It's either a simple person in some robe/ other ninja costume or a creature coming to get you. Not very well in color. Not good enough for a GBA game.

Control: 4/10

Even with small amounts of buttons, it still feels irritating. In order to go up slopes, you must hold down UP on the control pad. When you want to go down, you hold DOWN instead of up. Still not good here.

Sound: 6/10

When you kill somebody, they yet out a yelp. The music also fits the old Japanese themes. That's probably the only good thing here. Headphones are good to use because you probably just want to. Still, the music and sound could of been better.

Buy/rent

Neither. This game is not worthy of your time. In fact, don't even waste your time looking at this title. Walk away and get something else while your at it. Your mind will not get lost in this game. Instead, you will feel great regret.

Overall: 1/10

Ninja fans, this is the only thing a ninja fan would disband and vanquish to the furthest reaches of the underworld. The pain this ninja feels is a lot more painful than yours. Spend your time on something else. It serves you well.
