"Buu's Fury - Very simple,yet fun."

Introduction:
This game is the 3rd in it's series. The first was Legacy of Goku and the second being Legacy of Goku 2. Throughout the game you take on the role of different characters of the DBZ universe such as Goku or Vegeta; the game itself has 7 playable characters, 1 secret character and a few side roles you play for a short amount of time.

Gameplay: This game is strangely and insanely fun. There is no real reason behind it but it just is; Especially shooting a very powerful Final Flash to the unexpecting 4 enemies who die instantly. The game itself is too easy to say the least, the level doors in the game make sure your well beyond the level needed to get by the areas of the game. As soon as you pass the first 20 minutes of the game it's pretty much easy sailing just punch, punch and then move on to do the same thing to the next enemy. The controls are just like the ones in Legacy of Goku 1+2, except this time around you can block physical attacks with the "R" button and create an energy shield with the "R+B" buttons. Another nifty thing in this game is the ability to fuse with the fusion dance, the corresponding characters will fly on screen and you will be shown a series of buttons which you have to imitate if you want to fuse correctly.

Story:
The game starts where Legacy of Goku 2 (LOG2) leaves off. If you're a Dragon Ball z fan, it's basically the Majin Buu Saga of the television series with a few fill in portions that the TV portion does not go into detail. If you are not a fan, then the game starts off with the ending of LOG2 and the story as follows summarized as simple as I can:

A long time ago there was a wizard named Bibidi who created an evil monster buu. The wizard Bibidi and it's creation Buu flew around the galaxies destroying everything and anything. Sometime later Bibidi sealed Majin Buu in a ball with a magical incantation after ravaging the World of the Kai's (God's). Many many years later, the evil wizard Babidi (a descendant from Bibidi) is trying to revive this monster again.

Graphics/Sound:
The game in comparison to the other Legacy of Goku games in graphics is not too different. Aside from the boss sprites and enemy changes the graphics, although good, are not altered to any extreme. The sprites for the characters are very well drawn and also the towns and "dungeon" areas. The Sounds are very much are the same way there has not been many changes from the old games. However, these sounds are quite good and even though repetitive not the least bit annoying.

Play Time: For the hardcore gamer that likes to level to the max, obtain all the items and secrets in the game I'd say around 10 hours. That's every item from the equipment to disposable items and the Hercule and Z-Fighter Exhibits. If you just want to see the ending credits, then around 5-6 hours of game time.

Replayability: In my opinion, I think you may play this game maybe 1 or 2 more times through the game before getting bored with it if your a fan of the series. Trying to tweak your character to max out all their stats can get very involving. But other then that, there isn't much to it.

Final Comments: This game is quite decent but I would probably advise you to rent the game first and play it through. If you're still raving mad for the game, buy it, go beat your friends up in multiplayer mode and max out your characters.

Final Rating: 7 out of 10. It's still a fun game but nothing new to bring the score up past average.
