Britney's Dance Beat

"Worst GameBoy Advance game..."

I couldn't choose a video game to play so I decided to take a look in my little sister's video game case. Inside I found Britney's Dance Beat. If this review had a one word limit that one word would be, "horrible." How is this even considered to be a game? I could have more fun with my Game Boy Advance turned off.

Gameplay = 1/10

"How can it be so bad?" You might ask. The entire game is based on a circle in the lower left hand corner of the screen. You press whichever button flashes red. It can either be A, B, a directional button and A or B, or L. And that my friends, is the game. By the way, Britney Spears is dancing in the middle of the screen having little to do with the game itself. There are 10 levels consisting of 5 practice levels and 5 real levels. You are required to beat all of the practice levels before you can go to the normal levels. Don't worry; it should only take about 10 minutes. Congrats! After practice you are done with 50% of the game. I wonder if you can beat the other half… Oh wait! You already did because it is the exact same thing as the first half but there is a different background this time. Also, the unlockables are a joke. Yay! A picture of Britney Spears! I'm sure you wouldn't be able to find one of these just by opening up any teen magazine in the universe. ::sarcasm::

Graphics/Sound = 4/10

The graphics get a 1 out of 5 and the sound gets a 3 out of 5 giving this section a 4 out of 10. The visuals are terrible. Britney dances around a bit and you can barely tell that it is her. The unlockable photos are the same way. Who is that blonde girl? And now for the sound, the best part of the game I suppose. If you are thinking about buying this game then I assume that you are a Britney Spears fan. There are 5 songs but none of them have Britney Spears singing them. Go figure, a Britney Spears game without her singing…

Playtime/Replayability = 1/10

You can complete this game in under an hour with no problem. The only replay value that I can think of would be playing it in front of your friends to show them how bad it actually is.

Final Recommendation

No!!! Don't even think about getting this. This game is not even worth $1. I wouldn't recommend this game for even the biggest Britney Spears fan.
