The Urbz: Sims in the City

Th Urbz: Sims in the City is a great game. It derives from the great series on the PC that is slowly transferring to consoles. The series tried hand helds before with Sims: Livin Large and Succeeded somewhat. Now they try for the sequel which should be better. It is dont get me wrong but it has one major flaw

Graphics: 10/10

This is not the flaw but the graphics are amazing. 3d graphics that are as good as you get in the GBA. You can see all the houses and buildings perfectly and the surroundings are surreal. It reminds me of the good Super Nintendo Graphics. The objects that this game has have been thoroughly pixelized

Sound: 10/10

The usual Sim sounds. Nothing in particular to say. Except they have little BG music and every chracter has there own individual sim language.

Story 10/10

You create your own character and are enter the world of Miniopolis. You are prompted to chose a new feature a "rep group". This has little significance to the game. Well the plot is Daddy Bigbucks is trying to make Miniopolis his own little play pen. So you have to try and stop him. The story is long and may take you 48 hours to pass the entire game. It is very replayable. The story has nearly every interlocking errand relavent to the topic. The game focuses well on the main story and there are very few "take my dog to the cleaner" errands.

Building and Objects 6/10

FLAW. You can not build houses in this game. Therefore you can only rent houses and you pay a weekly rent, The objects are very old and some of them come straight ou of the Sims. I hated this part about hte game i though it could be expanded a lot more. You also as a sim can dress up which is a good thing. You can buy clothes at the Auction house or the big mall. There is also the ability to dance and interact better. The adition of jail i thought was good. You go to jail if you urinate on the street. They also added various jobs you can do for simoleans at the same time. Basketball, Motocross, Doctor are just a few. You can also go to the university to increase a couple statistics.

Nonetheless go and buy this game its a great find and addition to your collection. If your a sims fan this is the greatest game for the GBA if you cant lay your hands on the Sims 2.
