Introductions

This is just one more Pokemon game. It is one more great game to play. This game is a added version of pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. They have added a lot of changes since Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. You now have to stop both of the bad guys now instead of one. It adds more game play to it so you all can enjoy more out of the game. If you like pokemon games then here is one for you.

Gameplay 9/10

If you have play the other Pokemon games you will know how to play this game too it has the same basic controls and the others you will learn as you go on the way of playing this great game. If you play Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire before you know that you can chose your characters gender (either a boy or a girl). There will be some talking in the beginning then after that you go right into the game. After you talk to a few people you can get your starter Pokemon. Then you can go and battle other trainers pokemon or wild pokemon to level up. It is best for you to level up your Pokemon to a high level so that you will always be prepare for other people to challenge you who knows you can be challenge by real people. When you have level up high enough some Pokemon will evolve into a different type of pokemon. Once you play this game long enough you will discover new things about Pokemon, Maybe one day you can learn everything about Pokemon. The story is very fun to follow along with you will learn new things about the game as you go though the story.

The difference from Ruby/Sapphire

Most people wants to know what is added... the first big thing you will notice is this game has both team magma and aqua. You will find out they have a evil plan to awaken two powerful Pokemon. One controls the land and one controls the water. Can you stop them in time or will they gain control of the two Pokemon? The one big thing is Battle Frontier. There will be a new way of two vs. two battle a trainer might come and join you or the trainer can join your opponent. The pokemon will be able to move. There are new ways you can battle. There are also other things waiting to be discover you can find them as you play the game. There are a few new Pokemon you can catch. There are some added trainers in this game. Besides that all the other thing are the same as pokemon Ruby/Sapphire.

Story 6/10

If you play other Pokemon games before than you would know that you need to get all the badges by defeating the gym leaders. You will also have to stop the main bad guy in this game which is team magma and aqua. This game takes place in a land call Hoenn. The Hoenn region is still the same. There are some bonus places you can visit when you finish the game. There us a whole land to explore in this game and lots of people to battle. In this game you can start out as a boy or a girl it doesn't change the story much, but there will be a little bit of at some point of the game.

Graphics 6/10

This game still has the old graphics as Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, but the graphics is still good. You still have the rain,reflection in the water, some cut screen (there are some extra cut screens), the footprints when you walk on the sand and every other things that was in Ruby and Sapphire. The programmers could have done a little better for this game's graphic.

sound 4/10

This was one of the lower scores. The sound that they have in this game just repetitive sounds each time you turn on the game and play it you will almost hear the same thing over and over again. You might one to put on your favorite music instead of the sound on your GBA. The good thing about the sounds are you can hear the sound of thunder,rain,Pokemon crying and some other things too.

Replayability

There are lots of Pokemon to catch so replayability would be good. It might get old after you replay it 9 times. You can replay all the pokemon contest if you like and some other sidequest it you didn't get to them. You can call friends over to have a battle with you. If you like to battle a lot this will keep you busy for a while. You can go to the battle frontier and keep battling until you get tired there are lot of things to do in this game to keep yourself busy.

Rent or Buy?

If you are a big fan of Pokemon and like to collect pokemon game then you should buy it. If you haven't play a pokemon game yet and this brings up your interests you should rent it first if you want to see how it's like. If you never heard about pokemon yet and you want this game then you should rent this game first to see if you like it.
