"One more yu-gi-oh game with dice in it."

Introduction - You should keep away from this game unless you want to collect all the yu-gi-oh games and want to add this to your collection. You will find that this game has a strange dueling system, but it is something you will pick up along the way. It only a one player game so you can't compete with other players. This game goes right into the place where you get to chose your characters.

Gameplay 1/10

In this game you just roll dice and select the cards. Then you move your character around the board. The boards in this game are very small and lack details. The board does not have any minigames to it. There is nothing in this game to help boost your deck. You don't get any booster pack after you have win a duel. This is a disappointment, when you compare this to other yu-gi-oh games. The deck that you get are made by the game themselves and sometimes lack strong monsters. This game also has a lacking in monster selection. There are some characters to unlock and those characters could have been helpful in some ways. This game also doesn't have some important characters like Tea which is often seen in other yu-gi-oh games.

Story 1/10

This game has no story at all. You won't be able to go anywhere, but on the board. You won't be able to go to cities or go talk to people. There are no characters talking to each other. If you have played other yu-gi-oh games before you might have notice it had a story with it, but this does not have any. If you are a person who likes to play story games then you should avoid this game.

Graphics 4/10

The graphics for the characters(there are some that have to be unlock) are much better then the graphic on the boards they have good details. The maps like I said lacks details for most parts. They are just little squares you walk on some squares have specials effects (i.e. life points recovery). I was sort of disappointed when I saw the graphics wasn't so great only if the programmers would have put just a little more time into this game then maybe the board would have more details to it.

Sounds 6/10

This is one of the good parts of the game, the characters can talk in real voice. The characters talk when the duel is about to start, but it is only a short phrase. This voice acting is good for GBA games.

Play time 2/10

In this game you can set a star count that shows what star summon until the duel ends(i.e. if you set the star count on eight then summon a 8 star monster or two 4 star monster you win and the duel will end). If you would like to play a long duel, then set the star count on a high level. If you would like to play it short, you can set the star count on 1.

Replayability

You can replay this game over and over again if you like this game. You can also play this over and over again to get new boards if you haven't collected them all yet. This all depends on how much you like the game, you can get board once you play it 4-5 times or you can play it countless time if you like.

Final recommendation

If your a huge fan of yu-gi-oh or yu-gi-oh games, you might want to get this game. If you like to collect the cards that comes with this game, then you can buy it. Other then that, you might as well avoid this game.
