The Sims Bustin' Out

Review by wollaholla

"Ok I guess..."

Overview- This game I bought quite a while ago but im writing a review anyway. I wished this game would be like its big brother the Sims, but I found a mission driven story.

Story-6- You are a boy or a girl who arrives in SimValley. You do everyday life as you uncover secerets. Not much to say there.

Gameplay-7- You go around talking to various people making friends and enemies. You get a house move out move in. The gameplay is story driven so don't expect aPC version shrunk down to your GBA. You can furnish your house with various furnitures and attend auctions. Blah blah blah. Now the important part. The biggest addition is the fact that you can get out of the house and explore the city and there are mini games that earn you money. The mini games are unlocked as the story goes on. (Personal favorite: DDR style guitar game). By the way there is hardly any customization for your sim, only hairdo, skin tone, shirt color, and pants color.

Sound-5- Well its medicore and what you would see from a GBA game. There are some simlish, but mostly its text. The music gets repetetive after a while and so does the sound effects.

Graphics-7- Some parts are good and some parts are okay. For example, when you talk to a person, you get a close up view of the guy, and the details are quite amzing for a GBA. Almost better than the DS's I say. But when you are just running around, you cant tell the guy's face or wheter it's a 5000 dollar bed or a 200 dollar bed.

Replay-6- There isnt much replay in the game but if you beat it twice youre probably done with it. The game only takes about 4 hours to beat so be aware.

Overall-6 I might have been a little too tough on this medicore GBA game but just like i said, I expected more out of it.
