Mario Pinball Land

"Proof that graphics aren't everything"
I remember when I was thinking of buying this game. I decided to get it because of the great graphics and it was Mario. Big mistake.
Story: 5/10
Okay, Peach has this new invention that squishes you into a ball and shoots you. Well as Peach was using it, a Goomba changes the target at Bowser's castle. So Mario goes nto the machine after Peach. Why doesn't he just go after her in normal form? Who knows.
Gameplay: 2/10
As a pinball, Mario goes into different worlds to find stars. If you collect a certain amount of stars, you can open new doors. Problem is, it's very hard to aim at a certain door and eventually get annoying. Each world has a boss. All you basically have to do is hit the boss three times. Exciting.
This next thing is where this game lacks the most: Saving. This game only has one save file. Also, you have to save EVERY time before quiting/turning the GBA off. If you don't, the file is GONE. It can catch you off guard and make you want to crush the game.
Graphics: 10/10
The game's strong point. The graphics are amazing in this game! It's 3-D that looks a bit like clay animation. I see that this is what the designers spent all their time on instead of making a decent save system. Graphics are not everything, though.
Sound: 7/10
Each world has it's own song or two. Some of them are great, while some of them may want the sound switch to go down. Also Mario says his usual yellings in this game. Eventually you'll want Mario to be quiet.
Replay: 3/10
After you beat the boss there is nothing to do. You may have missed some stars, but that's it! No mini-games, multi-player,no nothing! Basically, when you beat the game, you just forget about it.
Last word: Do not get this game! Sure it has good graphics, but graphics aren't everything! This is a game that will be forgotten.
