Love Hina Advance: Shukufuku no Kane wa Harukana

"Wait....what? That's it? That's the end? STICKERS?"

It's a sad, sad day when a flash game of the same thing can be better than an official game. I am talking about the Love Hina Sim Date on Newgrounds....but let's not get into that. I am here on behalf of this poorly made Love Hina Advance game.

Boy, I'm glad i didn't pay money for this. I was over my buddy's house and i saw this game on his desk and thought, oh cool! Love Hina! And I asked him if I can play it and he said yeh, blah blah blah, and I played it. Now, let me tell you of my journey through this game.

Gameplay: (1/10) This couldn't be any more vague! All you do is read and read and read and read and read then a choice comes up! You have either 10 or 2 seconds to decide a choice. The only time you get to even move is when you search through the dorm, which you only do twice! And it lasts about 15 seconds! You also need to know A LOT about the anime to fully understand it. I've seen maybe 2 or 3 episodes. You're basically just trying to get your character some action. Why? What's the point if it's not entertaining at all to help your character to get some?

Graphics:(8/10) One of the few highlights of the game. Though it is all still frames, the art is colorful and taken from the actual anime. The graphics during the "yay I can move" scenes is just down right pitiful. The animated scenes also work well for a GBA.

Sound:(3/10) Such unmemorable tunes, I'm not even sure there was music in the first place. They had speech, but it's very muffled and hard to understand. The sound effects are pretty solid, which is why it's a 3. But that's all to say about it.

Story:(2/10) Funny at times, but it gets old quick. At first, the idea of the girls beating up the ronin(your character). But then you get so bored you start thinking, isn't violence bad? The characters aren't portrayed very well either. (I like how the were exaggerated in the flash cartoon...hee!) The conversation isn't even interesting at times. Like....so what if you made a promise to some girl you never saw again when you were 5? She wont remember 13 years later, you fool!

Overall:(2/10) This game is a waste of money and time. I felt I got ripped off even though i didn't pay any money for it. This game might be even worse than Legacy of Goku 1. But at least that game had some point to it.

Replayability:(0/10) Ha, you're silly. I only got 1 sticker and I turned it off. That's when you know a game is really bad. You refuse to beat it.
