"This game=Awesome"

After the failure of a game (Not to me, though), MegaMan Battle Network 4, people hoped that its sequel, Battle Network 5, would be better, and regain the series's glory. The question is, has it? Lets find out.

Story: 9/10

Unlike the crappy story of MMBN4, this one is acually GOOD. After doing a errand for your mom, your dad invites you (Lan Hikari) and your friends (Mayl, Dex and Yai) to Scilab, where he's going to reveal something. When you get there, you have to get a disk or something for your dad, however, once you get it, a smoke bomb is thrown into the room, knocking out everyone in it. *Gasp* Its Dr.Regal, leader of the evil Nebula, from the last game! He takes your father away and steals your friends P.E.Ts (Personal Terminals), but missies seeing Lan, so he doesnt steal his P.E.T (MegaMan, buts thats REALLLLY obvoius right now). 3 days or so later, Lan wakes up, and is soon "saving Scilab" from a mysterious Navi, Colonel (If you have Team Colonel) You then join a team, to defeat Nebula! Going on, other people join your team, and your team starts to liberate the net from Nebula...

Gameplay: 9/10

Just like the other games, it still has that same cool battle style, that is always explained near the beggining of the game. Also, the souls are back, with a new Chaos Soul system, that makes you sacrifice Dark chips like normal chips, with different risks then using one. Plus, there is also a new feature. (Drum roll) The liberation Missions! In these parts of the game, you liberate a part of the net from Nebula, like Blizzard Man in ACDC 3. To put it all together, the gameplay rocks.

Graphics: 10/10

Same as the last game, but thats a good thing, as those graphics ROCK. They're alot better then the first 3's graphics in my oppion. I dont care if MegaMan "Looks like a shrimp", he's always BEEN one compared to the other guys.

Music/Sound: 9/10

Alot of the sound is the same, good stuff from the others, with cool sounds like the Mega buster and the Vulcan. In the music department, we have some good tunes, like the ACDC theme, the usual net theme, and the theme song guy. My only problem is that I didnt like the music as much as last game, well, that much, but at least the Theme song is better.

Replay Value: 10/10

Like the other games, this game has tons of stuff after stopping Nebula, like getting all of the battlechips, or S-ranking Navis, and 3 extra leberation missions. You'll be playing this game alot.

Overall: 9/10

This game is a must-buy. It has good music, a good plot, replay value, awesome graphics, liberation missions, and cool souls. So what are you waiting for? Rush to the stores, now! Enjoy.
