Lego Star Wars

"The force is with this game"
Lego Star Wars
First there was Star Wars, then came Lego, now comes the new installment to both franchises, Lego Star Wars for the GBA.
And what a good game it makes. In this particular game, you will play through episodes 1,2 and 3. Star Wars is popular, Lego is fairly popular, now lets see what they make together:
Gameplay: Straight to the heart and soul of any game, gameplay. This game produces us with 5 scenes of episode 1 to play, 3 Scenes from episode 2 ( quiet sad really) and 6 scenes from episode 3. Although there isnt much to episode 2, episodes 1 and 3 have a nice range of scenes to play through. This is the usual hack and slash game, with a few puzzles ( VERY easy to figure out, but frustrating to complete). Out of the 15 usable characters, some can use the force, some can jump higher than others and blasters can penetrate what a saber can't (weird isnt it), plus R2 and R4 can go into bonus rooms. You can reach things with the force and high jumps, while blasters and an R4 unit to get you extra studs(used to buy characters for free play). You pick a episode and play through the scenes in story mode, when you complete a scene you can choose it in free play and use any character you want ( that you have unlocked and purchased) in it. Very fun.
I will give gameplay a 9/10
Graphics: The graphics are awesome. You basically walk around like a lego character and when you kill comething, or you get killed, the fall into many lego pieces. A nice bonus is that when you change characters, your chacter falls to pieces and the one you are swapping to reforms right before your eyes. The backgrounds and pretty good, nothing special though. Most of the characters sprites are accurate ( cough padme cough) and another slight problem is that obi wan dont change looks in the different episodes. ( this goes for any other characters that change their looks).
Graphics are a 10/10
Sound/music: The sound is what it should be, John Williams music, Right where it should be most of the time. Where its not Actual music from star wars, it fits. Also there is the humming of the lightsabers and everything. Not too much to say about this category
Sound/Music = 8/10
Replayability: There is so much to do, if you want to master all the levels then you need to unlock all sorts of different characters, which could take a while. If you want to unlock all the characters, your in for alot of replaying Kashyyyk Clone attack (some cost alot of studs) and there is alot of fun using darth maul to beat maul etc etc. You will play this game for a while without getting bored. In fact it takes so long, you will proball get bored of it before you beat the game complatly ( thats an emphasis on how long it took me)
9/10 for replayability
Overall if you a lego and star wars fan buy it, is your a SW fan, buy it, if your a lego fan, buy it, if you dont like either too much, i dont think you should touch this game, too much emphasis on the fact that its star wars AND lego.
Overall:9/10
