"The Best Game of The Megaman Battle Network series"

After the boring and repetitive game of Battle Network 4, Capcom has revived the Battle network series with this fantastic game, Battle network 5, Team Protoman/Colonel.

Story 8/10

The story was much better than the last one. In the last story, the game actually made us play through the game three times in order to get all the items need to unlock certain secret things. In this game, Lan and Megaman belong to a team where they had to liberate certain network areas from an evil group called, “Nebula”. The leader was a man called Dr. Regal. In the last game, he ought to have died when he jumped of a building. Somehow, he revived.

Audio 9/10

The music was awesome, but it would have been better if they kept the boss battling theme from Battle network 4. The sound effects were also great.

Graphics 10/10

I would have to say, in this game, the graphics are perfect. A great improvement from the first three games of the series. In the first three games, the graphics were horrible. The characters were too big, and the network areas looked extremely ugly. The fourth game was ok, thought it still lacked color in the network areas. This game, the graphics are excellent. The network areas are awesome, and very colorful. In battle, there are added features that make this game even better. I'm not going to tell you since it contains serious spoilers.

Game play 10/10

When I first turned on my Game Boy Advanced, and started playing, I was kind of disappointed. I thought that this was going to be the same old thing as in Battle Network 4, but when I got to play my first ever liberation mission, I was fascinated. Liberation missions were when you and your team have to liberate a certain network area from Nebula. You had certain members on your team, and you could use each of them to complete the mission.

Rent or buy?

Definitely buy this game. It's awesome. And trust me, it's worth it.

Overall 9/10

There's still some space for improvement on this game, but it's definitely worth playing.
