"This game gets to second base..."

Introduction:

I think this game is pretty good, sure nobody cares about it a lot. But still,it's a great game to play. It's fun just hitting home runs once in a while y' know what I mean? I am not a big baseball fan but this game kind of got me into Professional baseball. This is an overall great game.

Gameplay:8

The gameplay is pretty good I'd have to say. The batting is the thing that makes it all fun,(for me). When you're batting, once the ball is near you, you try to swing it and pray it goes far or nobody catches it. You can choose how deep it goes or you can just hit a grounder by controlling where you want to hit. For example: if you want the ball to go deep, before the pitcher pitches, make the cursor go down. Vice versa for a grounder, but if you want it to go right, you'll have make the cursor go left and vice versa. I think this type of thing really made it interesting. But the really cool part is that you get special moves, you get special moves for batting, pitching, running, catching, and throwing.The specials for batting depend on what bat you use. If you use a sonic bat for example, the ball will go very fast. For running, your special depends on how your player runs. You can make your player go super speed or just make copies of himself.

For pitching, you can choose what kind of pitch you want, sliders, fastballs, sinkers, ect. You can choose where you want to pitch like corners or the bottom. You also get special moves, which has a large variety. Now for catching, if the ball hit is a pop up, the player will just automatically run over there and catch it. But if it bounces first, you will have to throw to the bases. You get specials for that also. Running bases is pretty simple, you can choose if you want to steal bases or not. But at times you can't no matter what because the pitcher has the ball. Stealing bases is so much fun.

Graphics:3

The graphics aren't really that good. It doesn't even compare to the PSP or the DS games. The players are very blurry, they don't even have faces. the ball is very blocky. Everything is blocky. The crowd is just one big blob. The graphics are just REALLY bad.

Sounds:4

The sound is not really that good either. You can hear the crowd cheering and that baseball getting hit by the bat but that's it. It's just best for you to turn the sound off because it's totally lame.

Replay value:8

After you beat the season with your made up team, there isn't much to unlock. But it's totally fun just playing a game. You will have hours of fun just batting, pitching, and running.

Final thought:

This game is really good. Although it seems like some of the different teams are wearing the same uniforms and the graphics are really bad. The gameplay is just too good to resist. It will mezmerize you into playing for a long time. So I would definitely recommend you buying this.
