BattleBots: Beyond the BattleBox

Does any one remember the show Battle-bots? The show where people made robots and made them fight. That was a good show and they made a game for it that is also good.

Story 5
There is not a real story. What happens is one day your Pearson decides to make a robot and you end up taking it through the ranks and have to beat other robots until you are champion. You can name your robot and give it designs. So thats it a average story.

Sound 6
The sound for this game is ok it has a lot of metal grinding sound thats nice. It also has sounds that robots making destruction. You will hear the announcer scream about stuff once in a while. Also the sound is kind of scratchy and it seams to break apart. So overall grinding sound some announcer and the music is very scratchy.

Graphics 7
Not that good but for 4 years ago there decent. The graphics are kind of not good and not much color except gray and they are kind of not 3d. The good part about the graphics is the frame rate it moves at a good pace and also the design possibilities for your robot is good. So overall decent graphics for how old this game there not complete 3d and the color is very bland. Now for the good part the frame rate is awesome and the design is also neat.

Game play 10
The game play is so solid and fun. Talk about fun first of all you can just go in there and start crashing into other robots doing all sorts of damage. Now there is a 4 way battle and it is so fun going in trying to dodge attacks doing huge amounts of damage. There are 4 classes and 4 real robots in all you can chose from robots of all classes and have fun. So overall all around fun as you get into the box and make destruction.

Replay value 10
All it comes down to is playing matches again trying to do better. Also you can set timers at infinite so just set it at that and ply for hours.

This is a very fun game but the sound and story are a little off

So should you get this game yes and if you find it at a renting place rent it. Its just a fun game.
