2. INTRODUCTION
===============

Bear in the Big Blue House was a children's television show that aired from
1997 to 2003, then back again in April 2006. It gives children lessons on
manners, shapes and other basic concepts that are useful for everyday living
and an introduction or addition to kindergarten to pre-primary learning.

==================
3. GETTING STARTED
==================

Once you turn the Game boy on and choose a language, all the characters
will greet you when you automatically "enter" the house. I'm guessing that
they're greeting you as Ojo, the little bear. It seems that it's your birthday.
Next is a menu of Adventure or Activity. Adventure is like a mission, whereas
Activity is choosing a game to play that you will play in the mission.
Whatever you choose, there will be an option of Easy, or Hard. Easy is
slower and has less complications, whereas Hard is more challenging and
faster. Every game has a bar down the bottom that fills up for everything
done right. Do something wrong however and the bar will go down. A level
finishes when the bar is full.

===========
4. CONTROLS
===========

Left = Go Left
Right = Go Right
Up = Go Upstairs, Go Up
Down = Go Downstairs, Go Down
Start = Menu
A = Start A Game/Talk, Choose Option
B = Send out Bees in Maze

Select has no uses, nor R or L, as far as I know.

============
5. ADVENTURE
============

I'm playing this in Easy mode. You start in a room with doors going left and
right and stairs going up. I'm going right first. In here you find Bear and a
fish doing synchronised dancing. Press A to start Bear's game...

=============
5.1. PEEKABOO
=============

In Peekaboo you need to sneak past Bear to unwrap your pressies. When
you're on the left side, particularly on the extreme left, Bear cannot see you.
However when you go further to the right, Bear will start popping up behind
the sofa, and if he stands up too high and sees you, you lose your points.
Press the right button continually to tiptoe right. When you reach the present
press A as many times as you can to start unwrapping the present. If bear
gets too high press left quickly to go back left. When a present is unwrapped
another one appears when you go back left far enough. Repeat until
completion, to start level 2, where Bear is faster and again to level 3, where
he is faster and waits less between sneaking back down and coming back
up. Then you get a piece of the birthday picture (Okay 2 pieces)!! Looks like
a piece of Ojo and background. Okay go left to the first room and then left
again to enter the kitchen. Here Tutter the mouse is dancing too. Press A to
start his game...

============
5.2. POPCORN
============

In Popcorn you need to move left and right to catch all the good popcorn, the
yellow, thickly-buttered looking ones. Depending on what difficulty level you
are playing in, you may not have to worry about the burnt, red ones until later.
Catch the yellows or you lose points. Do not catch the reds or you lose points.
Okay so there are three spots that Ojo can be in; extreme left, middle and
extreme right. Unlike the last game you do not need to continually press a
button just to get to one side; you press left once and you go left. Anyway,
watch Tutter and the popcorn in the background, as this will help you know
where the popcorn is going to fall. If it seems to go straight up and left, then
move left. If it seems to go up and arch very little, it'll probably be in the
middle. And if it has a large arch right, then it should usually be on the
right. Now on level 2 (for Easy), you are going to have the red ones. Just
stand on a different spot then they're falling and they'll fall to the ground.
You won't lose points. Also Tutter will start sending some out straight after
another, which is where using the arch and direction really helps. If the
popcorn's angle that it's shot at is high, and then it will take longer than a
low angled popcorn to reach the ground. Repeat with level 3 where he is faster
and there is more red popcorn. Then you are complete! Now you can see
all of Ojo, Tutter and a bit of Bear! Now press the up button to go out the
back door, where you find Treelo! Press A to start...

=========
5.3. MAZE
=========

In Maze you need to find the beehive in the time limit. If you press B you can
send out a swarm of bees that lead you in a general direction. I think this
takes a chunk off your remaining time but you should have no problems. I'll
lead you through my route but I'm pretty sure that it is different every time.
For the first maze (remember I’m in Easy) I went left, down, down, left, up.
Then walk into the beehive. The next level is a lot trickier because the bee's
just lead you into walls. Go left, left, left, left, up, up, right, right.
In the last level you go up, left, left, up, up, and then you're out of there.
For the puzzle you get Treelo, party hats and a bit of Bear. Go right to a
sign that says Pond, then right again to find Pip and Pop and their game...

=============
5.4. PONDBALL
=============

In Pondball your goal is to stop Pip and Pop from getting goals. Press and hold
down the left or right buttons to go further left or right. To dive quickly to
one side press A and left or right. Also you lose points if you let it in. All
good? Good. Only one otter will shoot balls at you in level one. Same with the
second level although the otter will shoot a bit faster, and again with the
third. The puzzle shows Pip and Pop, more of Bear and the birthday cake! Go
back into the house to the very first screen and then press Up to go up the
stairs. Go left to find Treelo, again, having a bath. Time to play...

============
5.5. BUBBLES
============

Okay so you're in the bath and Treelo's drying himself on the roof. Treelo is
a weird child and loves to eat bubbles so it's your job to use the bellows and
grant his wish. Press A to shoot the bubbles and the direction keys to aim,
as he moves regularly. If you hit the roof you lose points and if you feed
Treelo you get points. Treelo moves pretty fast and skips a spot or two on the
roof by level 2. Level 3 is the same but harder. Oh and a cool little thing,
you can hit the walls and if positioned right it can rebound to Treelo. Okay I
think you get a bit more of the background for the puzzle. Go right and right
again and surprise, surprise. Treelo, AGAIN. Press A to start...

=============
5.6. FEATHERS
=============

Okay so Treelo keeps a feather collection and is playing with them. You
have to be the nice friend and catch them in a sack. Basic rules; catch the
feathers for points, drop the feathers to lose points. Press left or right
once, held down, to slide along. This game is really annoying as 1) The
feathers are slow 2) They flutter from side to side 3) The bar fills up micro-
scopically and 4) Two feathers like to be in the same position at once... on
different sides of the screen. So you speed on to one side then to the other
which can mean you miss both if you aren't careful. Ah well, help Treelo in
all the levels, where more feathers rain down at the same time for each harder
level, until you get the puzzle piece which finally shows Bear's face, with
only a few little, black squares up in the top left corner, waiting to be
claimed. Go left and then up, to go into the attic. Here you find Pip and
Pop, again. If you go up a screen it's just Luna the moon who doesn't do
anything, so don't bother. Anyway press A to start Pip and Pop's game...

===========
5.7. MEMORY
===========

Okay so Pip and Pop have dirtied the attic with their toys and they need
them sorted. Who's going to do that? Ojo of course. Match the pairs to
gain points within the time limit. I'm afraid that you're on your own, because
I'm sure the positions are random. I can tell you that each level has more
objects then the last. Then, when you complete it, you get the whole
picture and a happy birthday from them all! Ojo wishes he had a
birthday every day, even though all he did was do the others' jobs.
Then Bear asks if you want to play...

==========
5.8. STARS
==========

You have to help Bear keep the stars in the air (ooh, rhymes!). So don't
lose your lives, which are shown by stars in the bottom left corner. This game
is pretty hard, as the stars will be thrown continuously by Luna. Bounce
the stars on your stomach and then watch to see which ones are falling
fastest and are closer to the ground, then get them first. The stars disappear
and give more points every time they hit the counter in the top right corner
of the screen. You only have to play this once, then you have finished
the game! Congratulations!

===========
6. ACTIVITY
===========

In Activity, you can choose to play any game from Adventure, in any difficulty
and, as far as I know, as many levels as you like. To quit press Start and
Quit.

This game is a product of Ubi Soft and The Jim Henson Company.

If you ask I will let you put it on your website.
www.cheatcc.com is not allowed to use this, but even little kiddie game
