Racin' Ratz is a fun little puzzle game for the GBC that you need to check
out if you haven't already. If you're just starting the game, try to make it
through without my help, only referring to the walkthrough when you need help.

Because of the amount of time that was put into this guide, please don't rip
me off and use this without my permission. If you want to use this guide on

Here are some basic tips to help you get through the game.

2.1. Controls

D-pad: Move your car
A: Use item 1 (on the right); Assign pickup to slot 1
B: Use Item 2 (on the left); Assign pickup to slot 2
Start: Open up start menu
Select: Use the camera to roam around the room

2.2. Powerups
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ

Here's a list of all the powerups in the game. Here's the legend.

Name: The name of the powerup.
Effect: Basically, what the powerup does.
Description: What the powerup looks like.

Name: Mini
Effect: Makes your car tiny for a short period of time. If you're in a small
        space when you revert to normal, you'll die.
Description: A tiny yellow RC car.

Name: Ratitude Spin
Effect: When activated, you do a spin attack, destroying all objects and
        enemies in your path.
Description: A circle made up of two arrows.

Name: Invincibility
Effect: Makes you invincible for a short period of time.
Description: A yellow exclamation point.

Name: Wall Climber
Effect: Lets you climb up certain marked walls (marked with ^).
Description: A circle with two triangles (^) inside.

Name: Super Jump
Effect: Lets you flip a short distance, letting you cross long gaps.
Description: A red circle with a yellow arrow inside.

Name: Springy
Effect: Lets you jump across small gaps.
Description: A gray spring.

Name: Rocket
Effect: Transports you from the large rocket pad to the small one.
Description: A yellow and red rocket.

Name: Turbo
Effect: Greatly increases your speed for a short period of time.
Description: A "T" with a few "speed lines" (= -).

Name: Inflatable Tires
Effect: Makes your wheels huge so you can cross over dangerous pits.
Description: A big black wheel.

Name: Super Brake
Effect: Lets you stop on a dime (^_^)
Description: A red circle with a yellow "S" inside.

3. Walkthrough
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
When you start the game, you select either Chris or Betty. Then you select
your car (they're both the same, they just look different); while selecting,
press down on the d-pad and A to select your car's color. Press A twice to
continue. This is the level select area; press left/right to choose your
mission, and press down and A to check your inventory. Since there's only one
different level for the two characters, I'll just do that one in detail.

3.1. Walkthrough

Betty's Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
01c-Makeup Masquerade

* This is basically a tutorial level. Grab the Mini, and get through the first
  maze.
  
* Grab the Ratitude Spin to kill the chairs. Go around the bend, and use the
  spring to jump over the bed.
  
* Grab the Invincibility and use it to pass through the toilet water unharmed.

* Grab the Mini, and make it through the second maze. When you're big again,
  jump left over the book, and grab the Makeup.
  
02c-Diary Dilema

This level has two paths, first is path one:

* Go to the bottom, and use the ramp to jump over the dolls.

* Grab the Springy, and use it to jump to the first book (from here on in,
  you have to inch forward to avoid falling off).

* Use the next 2 Springies to make it up to the bed where the Diary is.


Here's path two:

* Go to the top, grab the Wall Climber, and use it to get to the left cabinet.

* Grab the Super Jump, go to the top of the cabinet and jump left; you'll hit
  the lamp, keeping you from falling off.
  
* Here, grab the Springy and jump to the right once again. You'll get to a
  stack of books; drop of to the right and grab the Mini and the Rocket.
  
* Use the Mini to get in between the books, and use the Rocket to get up to
  the bed where the Diary is.

Chris' Bedroom
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
01b-Marble Mayhem

* Go down and use the ramp to grab the Invincibility.

* Go to the top left corner, and use the Invincibility to grab the Super Jump.

* Now, grab another Invinc. and go to the right. You'll see a spring there, use
  it to get up the ledge.

* At the bottom of the ledge, you'll see a robot. Use the Ininc. to get the
  Wall Climber from him.

* Jump up to the blue dresser, and use the Climber there.

* Hop over to the right and grab the Marble Bag.


02b-Trading Places

* Go down and grab the Rocket from the mouse game.

* Go right and use the ramp to get the Springy, then do the same again to
  Springy onto the bed.

* Use the Rocket to get the Wall Climber.

* Go back to where you started and grab the Mini.

* Go up and use the ini to get onto the box.

* Ramp to the right, grab the Invincibilty and use it to get past the orb.

* Use the Climber here to get the trading cards.

Grandma's Bedroom
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
03-Bingo Bonanza

* Go to the bottom of the screen, and loop around the folder. You should see a
  permanent springy; hop on it upwards to grab the screen in the pot.

* Now, loop around again below the screen, and go right off the ramp onto the
  block, jump to the block where the birdcase is, and grab the Wall Climber.

* Go to the upper left area, up the wall, onto the bed, and grab the Rocket.

* Drop off the bed to the right, go a little while, and grab the Mini while
  avoiding the mouse.

* Now, head back toward the bed, and you'll see a little ramp. Go tiny, and
  inch up the ramp. When you're there use the Rocket to get to the dresser.

* Go a little to the right, grab the Super Jump, and go around the jewlrey box.

* Now, go to the very top of the screen and hop to the right onto the piano to
  grab the Bingo cards.
  
04-Denture Adventure

* Go straight down, ramp off the purse to the Scrabble Board, and grab the
  Turbo.

* Go right and Turbo off the ramp to the suitcase to grab the Invincibility.

* Go up and left from here and you'll see a carpet. Along the carpet, there's
  a hole with a Mini next to it. A cat sticks his paw out every once in a while
  so use your Invincibility to grab the Mini.

* Go back down and right and use your Mini to get up on the block to grab the
  Climber.

* Go to the up left corner of the level, Climb up and grab the Rocket.

* Drop down to the right, and keep going on until you get to a permanent spring
  jump off it to get the usable Springy. Go back to the left and use the Rocket.

* Use the Springy to get the Mini off the little case.

* Use the Mini to cross over to the other dresser on the ruler.

* Grab the Super Jump and use it to jump across the tools and the acid to get
  the Dentures.


Mom and Dad's Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
05-Wallet Wrenching

* Go to the bottom left part of the screen to a small putting green and grab
  the Inflatable Tires.

* Go a little up and right to a permanent spring, and use it to get to a block.
  Up here, use the Tires to get past the oil and grab the Wall Climber.

* Use the Climber at the upper left part of the level to grab a Rocket.

* Drop down to the right and use the Rocket on the pad.

* Up here grab the Invincibility, and rocket off the ramp to the right, use the
  Invincibilty, go across the coins and grab the wallet.

06-Car Key Caper

* Go left, grab the Springy, and jump on to the box to get the Invincibility.

* Go up and little right until you see a handheld vaccuum. Use the
  Invincibility to get past and up the ramp, off the spring, and grab the Mini.

* Go to the middle of the stage and use the Mini to get on top of a box to get
  a Wall Climber.

* Use the Climber at the upper right corner, and go left to grab the keys.

Boss
ŻŻŻŻ
* This boss is a pushover is you know its patterns. First, grab a Ratitude from
  the upper part of the stage, you need this to hurt the enemy.

* First of all, the cat bobs its head twice, opens his arms a little and
  finally opens his wide; this is when you need to hit him hard. Hit him once
  with the Spin, and he'll change his patterns.

* Grab another Spin. This time, he opens one arm wide and one a little (/ |),
  then he does the opposite (| \), then he opens both a little, then both wide.

* Grab a final Spin. The last time, he opens one arm a little, then wide, then
  the other a little, then wide, then both a little and finally, both wide.

* Congrats! You'll now move on to area 2.

Bathroom
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
07-Toilet Trouble

* Go down off the ramp, across the pool to grab the Inflatable Tires.

* Keep on going right and in the middle of the pool of water is a Super Jump.

* To the right is a table with a Wall Climber. You need to jump from the right,
  from pretty far away (watch out for the plunger).

* Use the Climber at the upper right corner. Go all the way to the right of the
  ledge and drop down to grab the Rocket.

* Go back around the table and use the Rocket, and grab the Super Brake.

* Jump across the gap, using the Brake the second your shadow reaches the edge
  of the sink. Go to the very bottom, inch your way across until you get to the
  end. Jump across to the toilet to grab the Toilet Paper.


08-Shower Scramble

* Go to the left, and jump off the springs onto the towel holder to grab the
  Turbo.

* Loop back around to the right, grabbing the Super Brakes on the way.

* Use the turbo while on the little ramp, and use the Brake the second you see
  your shadow on the side of the tub. Go right and up to grab the Ratitude
  Spin.

* Go down, and use the Spin to kill the mouse while grabbing the Super Jump.

* Go down, loop around the stuff on the floor, and right and Jump up on the
  block there; without stopping, jump off the ramp onto the little table and
  grab the Rocket.

* Go up and use the spring to get back to the original level. Go farther up,
  grab the Super Brake once again, and use the Rocket, and get up to the
  counter.

* Grab the Turbo, and use it on the ramp to get to another counter where
  there's an Inflatable Tires. Use the Brake when you're above it.

* Using the Tires, go across the sink and grab the Wall Climber.

* Go to the upper left corner of the level, and Climb up the wall there.

* Inch across the ledge until you see a spider; sneak past him, and speed up,
  until you drop down a little, onto a sponge over a box, and finally, grab the
  toothbrush.


Kitchen
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
09-Egg Timer Escapade

* Go up and grab the invincibility; keep on going up and ramp off the spring to
  the left.

* Keep on going left, onto the carpet, until you see a cat. Use the
  Invincibility to grab the Super Jump.

* Now, go to the bottom of the screen, and you'll see a fish tank. From here go
  right, and use the spring you see to jump left onto the table. Without
  stopping, ramp off to the left onto the puzzle box.

* On the puzzle box, inch your way to the top right. Inch left, and about half
  way across, Jump up to the fish tank and grab the Inflatable Tires.

* Now, use the Tires to get across the water and inch your way to the Rocket.

* From here, go to the upper right corner of the level. Grab the Turbo there
  and use it to ramp off to the left onto te upper part of the level.

* Keep on going left, grab the Mini, and use the Rocket at the pad.

* Use the Mini to cross between the pits unharmed, grab the Climber, and when
  you're big again, drive off the right edge and grab the Super Jump on the
  chair.

* Use the Climber a little to the right, and Jump onto the fridge to grab the
  Egg Timer.


10-Cell Phone Craziness

* Go left and use the spring to grab the Springy.

* Go all the way right and use the Springy to grab the Super Jump.

* Go to the bottom middle of the level, onto the purple floor. Use the spring
  to get to the green block and Jump over to the next block to grab the Rocket.

* Now go back to the top, grab another Springy and use it to grab another Jump.

* Go down to the lower right corner of the map and use the Jump to get to the
  Rocket pad. Use the Rocket.

* Use the ramp (you need to go a little to the right to gain speed) to jump
  over the fruit, and grab the Wall Climber.

* Go to the upper right corner and use the Climber.

* Jump off to the right, but make sure you land on the sponge to get to the
  next part.

* Grab the Mini and use it to get across the bottom part of the sink.

* Grab the Invincibility, and use it before you ramp off to the right, over the
  toaster, onto the sponge, and finally, grab the cell phone.


Living Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
11-Television Terror

* Go right to grab the Super Brakes.

* Go back left and a little down, off the ram to grab the Turbo.

* Go to the bottom right corner, and Turbo off the ramp (don't use the Brake
  yet), and grab the Springy.

* Up from here is a table. To the right of the table is a spring. Use the
  spring to get onto the table, and use a Springy/Brake combo to get onto the
  upper part of the couch.

* Inch your way around here to grab the Mini.

* From here go all the way right and use the Mini to grab Super Jump.

* Go a little up and you'll see a Wall Climber, grab it.

* Go to the upper left section of the map, and use your Jump to get onto the
  table.

* Use your Climber to grab the Rocket, then drop down to the right to use the
  Rocket on the pad.

* Use the Jump to get over the candle and onto the tv to grab the Tape.


12-Music Madness

* Go all the way to the right, and grab the Turbo on the guitar.

* Go back to where you started and Turbo off the ramp to get the Super Jump.

* Go to the bottom left part of the stage and ramp off the ramps to grab the
  Mini.

* Now, go the bottom right area, and use your Mini to get on the boxes, and use
  the Jump to get the Wall Climber to the right.

* Go to the upper middle part of the level and use the Climber, and grab the
  Turbo, which you'll use to ramp to the right and get the Rocket.

* Do steps 1 and 2 to get another Super Jump.

* Go to the to right corner, and Jump onto the couch and use the Rocket there
  and grab the Controller.

Boss
ŻŻŻŻ
* This boss is much more easy than the previous. All you have to do is move
  left and right, avoiding the rocks, and the bird's sticks and poop. Use the
  Super Jump to hit him. Each hit will make he bird move faster and drop stuff
  more often. Hit him three times to kill him.


Treehouse/Deck
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
13-Treehouse Trek

* Grab the nearby Turbo, and use it to ramp across the puddle below you.

* Grab the Inflatable Tires and use them to cross the box of water.

* Now, you'll see a race track. Grab the Rocket while avoiding the car, and go
  up to the pad and use the Rocket.

* Follow the path around and grab the Ratitude Spin and the Super Jump. Go down
  a little, and Jump over the gap (you have to jump a little early so you don't
  go too far.

* Go to the top of this area and use the Spin to kill the yellow block and grab
  the Paddle.


14-Deck Dare

* Grab the Turbo and use it to ramp over the grill to your left.

* Here, grab both Springys, and inch over while Springying to cross the second
  grill. Grab the Rocket, and use it on the nearby pad.

* Jump over the 4 ramps, and make sure to grab the Springy.

* When you get to the area with some "stairs", use the Springys to get to the
  top.

* Grab the Invincibility, and then go to the top of this area, and ramp off to
  the right to get a Springy.

* Go a little down and left, and use your Invincibility to get the Inflatable
  Tires from beneath the... tail?

* Go down and ramp off to the right, and on the Block use the Springy; when you
  land on the next block, use the Tires to grab the Super Jump.

* Up and left from here, use the Jump to grab the Mini.

* Go to the very right of this area and use the Mini to cross the ruler and
  grab the Comic Book.


Garage
ŻŻŻŻŻŻ
15-Door Opener Obstacle Course

* Go down and a little right, and jump off the ramp to get the Ratitude Spin.

* Go to the top left corner of the level and use the Spin to steal the Tires.

* Go back to where you started, and use the Tires to ramp into the oil and grab
  a Mini.

* Go to the bottom left corner of the level and use the Mini to grab a Rocket.

* Use the Rocket at the pad to the north to grab the Wall Climber.

* Go to the top right area of the level and use the Climber to grab a Springy.

* Inch to the left and use the Springy to get across and grab a Mini.

* Use the Mini to cross the ruler and grab an Invincibility.

* Drop down to the right and use the Invincibility to get past the drill and
  the sander to grab the remote.


16-Monkey Wrench Buisness

* Go to the right and grab the Invincibility there.

* Go up and a little left and use the Invincibility to grab the Turbo from the
  sander.

* Now, go back to where you started and grab the Super Brake. Use the Turbo and
  the Brake to grab the Super Jump.

* Left of the Turbo and the sander are a few trash cans and a tv. Use the
  little ramp to get onto the box, Jump onto the can and get the Mini on the
  tv.

* Right of here, there's a spring. Use it to get onto a box and use your
  Mini to grab the Rocket.

* Use your Rocket on the pad in the upper left area of the level.

* Use the Springy to get across to the next box.

* Here, use the Super Jump to get the Inflatable Tires.

* Grab another Super Jump, use your Tires, ramp off to the the right, and in
  the pool of water, Jump over and grab the Wrench.


Backyard
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
17-Garden Dash

* Grab the nearby Inflatable Tires and use them to cross the puddle while
  avoiding the shark, grab another Tires from the island in the middle, and
  leave out the right side of the lake.

* Jump over the pot and grab the Rocket, and use the Tires to leave and exit
  the puddle from the bottom this time.

* Go right to use the Rocket.

* Here, go up and grab the Super Brake, and above the puddle for a Springy.

* Use the Springy and the Brake to grab a Super Jump. Just roll off onto a lily
  pad to get off here.

* Go to the upper right corner, and Jump to grab the Wall Climber.

* Grab another Springy, and jump onto the leftmost cabinet, Climb the wall, and
  grab the Spade.


18-Bone To Pick

* Go to the right and grab the Invincibility.

* Go down and use the Invinc. to grab a Mini, and go right to grab a Turbo.

* Go back to where you started and use the Mini to cross the bridge.

* Use your Turbo to ramp off the next ramp.

* Avoid the mole and grab the Turbo that you'll use to ramp off the next ramp.

* Drop down the hole and grab the Tires there. Use the Tires to get to the
  bottom right corner of the level (watch out for the turtle!).

* Go up, grab the Springy, and use it to grab the Mini on the lower right block.

* Use the Mini to cross the little bridge.

* Grab the Springy and use it to get the Super Jump, which you'll use to get
  the Bone.


Boss
ŻŻŻŻ
* This guy is a lot harder than the others. He's a RC car, just like you. In
  fact, he has your same attack. All you have to do is hit him with the Rat.
  Spin. But, only when he's normal, when he's attacking, your attack will just
  bounce off.


19-Ending

* Enjoy the ending! Hit start to finish it.

4. Optional Items
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
In every level (Chris' room, etc, not individual stages), there are three
hidden items. Luckily for us, they aren't spread around the stages. In fact,
all three of them can be found in the same place: a little timed mini game type
maze. This section lists all 9 locations for all 27 hidden items.

Betty's Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
01a-Makeup Masquerade

Location: In the lava lamp after the first Mini maze.
Directions:
Go down, grab the wheel, and go along the bottom of the maze, grab the flower,
go to the very top of the maze, go a little left and grab the lightbulb.


Chris' Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
01b-Trading Places

Location: Inside the calculator in the bottom right corner.
Directions:
Go to the bottom left to grab the star, the top right for the mushroom, and
the middle for the worker man.


Grandma's Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
02-Bingo Bonanza

Location: Inside the birdcage near the beginning of the level.
Directions:
Go down, grab the mirror, go to the bottom and right to grab the ring, and go
to the upper right to grab the gold (?).


Mom and Dad's Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
03-Car Key Caper

Location: Inside the shoebox towards the beginning of the level.
Directions:
Go to the bottom, a little right and grab the string, go right and grab the
shoe insert, go right, and down at the next chance, go right for some
cufflinks, and left for the shoe strings.


Bathroom
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
04-Toilet Trouble

Location: Inside the toilet.
Directions: Go up, grab the toilet brush, go to the upper right to grab the
bleach, and go to the bottom left to grab the hair brush.


Kitchen
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
05-Cell Phone Craziness

Location: In the empty side of the sink, toward the end of the level.
Directions:
Grab the nearby cheese, and go up to the upper right corner to grab the
wrench, and go the bottom right corner to grab the soap bottle.


Living Room
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
06-Television Terror

Location: Inside the antenna of the game system on the floor by the TV.
Directions:
Go down and to the left to grab Pitfall Joe, then go to the very bottom left
to get a snowball, and to the bottom right to get the Gremlin.


Treehouse/Deck
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
07-Deck Dare

Location: Big, gaping hole in the deck, right before the "stairs".
Directions:
Easy. Go down, grab the note, follow the pipe to the upper right area, grab the
leaf, and follow it around to grab the baseball.


Garage
ŻŻŻŻŻŻ
08-Door Opener Obstacle Course

Location: Inside the toolbox in the lower right corner of the level (jump in).
Directions:
Go to the bottom right to grab the screw, and head up and left for the
batteries, then go to the upper left area for the oil can.


Backyard
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
09-Garden Dash

Location: In a hole near the middle of the level.
Directions:
Go up, grab the ladybug, go right to grab the sunglasses, and go to the bottom
right to grab the cane.
