Maze in the Anger Gate?

I've rented this game a bunch of times and have never gotten past this point. Now I own the game and I still can't get past it. In the Anger gate, sometimes I get to a part where there's a type of maze... it's in a forest-like area, and when you move to the next screen, instead of the "camera" moving, it makes a door-opening noise. The maze keeps changing and I can't figure out where to go. NONE of the FAQs mention this. Please help!

I've actually gotten past the Anger part now, but I'd still like some more info on this weird maze. Some more info is that I cannot use a MapHerb or WarpStaff, there is no map, and no monsters show up.

1. Take the top-right entrance (from the area you start in).
2. Take the right entrance at the top of the screen.
3. You should now be at the hole.

Talk to the sleeping Dragon in the well, he tells you the way to go, you may want to write it down, it's kinda lengthy.
