In the continuation of a story, after beating onox/veran, and you password to the other game.

Yeah! You need the Noble Sword first though. In a linked game, if you use the Sword Upgrade Secret with the Wooden Sword you will get the Noble Sword and the Master Sword will be where you would have found the Noble Sword. If you use said Secret with the Noble Sword you will get the Master Sword. (One: I've done it both ways and two: The Master Sword is the only sword that can hurt Ganon WITHOUT using the Spin Attack.)
