I forgot to get a few items can i go back?
Cast Return, the Light World cities should still be on the list.

Yes, it is possible to return to Aliahan. Just cast the return spell, and choose Aliahan. You will be returned to the Light World. You could also use a warpwing. Actually, you can teleport to anywhere you want from the Dark World. Good luck, you'll need it against Zoma.
