The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
Question from newboy06
Asked on: 1/10 6:15PMI played Oracles of Seasons and I got a password which I entered in Oracles of Ages ( which makes the Ages game a linked game). Now, whatever passwords I give to people in Ages they say its wrong! For example I tried the Clock shop secret ( for getting the master sword) and it didn't work. None of the passwords work!! Please help..........

statusYou chose to start a linked game at the beginning, right?
Well, I'm guessing when you started your Ages game you chose a linked game right? And lemme get this straight: You beat Seasons. You got a code. You entered in on Ages. Now you got the code on Ages or on Seasons?
Make sure that you entered it in the correct place before you start the game and enter it completely.
If you're trying to use the secrets from an FAQ or walkthrough, they won't work. The secrets change depending on the password you used to start your game. Therefore, the secrets that another person got in his game won't work on yours, because you used a different password.
Assuming you played Seasons first and Ages is your linked game, do the following:
1) Find the people who give you the secrets in Ages - they'll tell you to give them to certain people in Seasons
2) Give those secrets to the people they specify in Seasons
3) You may have to complete a task or minigame to earn your bonus item
4) You will be given another secret to carry your new item back over to Ages - give this to Farore inside the Maku Tree in Ages
Ok you used the code right if not you need to start a new game and use it if you dont know if you did then go to the file select screen and look at the box where it shows the hearts if like is holding the harp you did enter the code. here are some problems that came to me while i was playing:
1:i entered the codes i found from ages to ages...
2.i gave them to the wrong person
3.(not sure) i think you need to give them to the girl inside the deku tree first
Are you sure you got them right? l and I, O and 0, and t and + look very similar in these games.
