"Nintendo's first pokemon game launched on the Game Boy in color, wich was'nt a mess at all..."

Pokemon Gold and Silver is Nintendo's first pokemon game launched on the Game Boy in color, other than the previous Red, Blue and Yellow. The story begins as usual, turn on your Game Boy, and a scene will open just like in RBY, only prettier. Then you will have to do the excact same thing as before: set the time, think of a name, (This time not your rival, you will get to give him a name further in the game) and your adventure will begin.

You start in your room in New Bark Town, when you go downstairs your mom will speak to you and say prof. Elm needs you for an errand. You go to prof. Elm and he'll give you a pokemon just as in RBY, Chickorita(Bulbasaur), Cyndaquil(Charmander), Totodile,(Squirtle). When you choose your pokemon, you will have to go to a guy originally named, Mr. Pokemon who'll give you an item called Mystery egg. Then prof. Oak, an authoroty on Pokemon, speakes with you, He'll give you a PokéDex, a device used by any trainer to hold and store seen and chaugt Pokemon's data. When you go outside again, prof. Elm will call you that he's being robbed of something important but he does'nt really want to tell you what, you just have to come on home right away. So do you do, but when you arrive in the city between, a guy, who happens to be the robber, walks in to you and challenges you. You beat him and will push you aside and just walks on. When you reach The prof. Elm's lab again where you recieved your first pokemon, prof. Elm tells you that a pokemon is being robbed, wich happens to be one of the starter pokemon. Then you'll give him the Mystery egg you've got from Mr. Pokemon. Elm tells you about a Gym challenge, in wich you'll have to beat eight powerfull opponents and collect badges.

Although the Gold and Silver version is additional to the RBY versions, the story has improved very well and impressed me the most. What impressed me also were the graphics, wich were really advanced for the Game Boy.

But also, This game has a few downsides. such as the 'powerful' Gym Leaders, most of them aren't tough at all, and when you get on a bycicle you'll move way to fast wich will make you uncontrollable.

Overall, this is a great game were kids, but also grown-ups will enjoy.
