Introduction
Waiting for Pokemon Gold and Silver to come out and you are bored? Then get this game. It is not like all the other Zelda games, but it is good. This is the game that drew me into the seris, and it should draw you into it too if you have not played a Zelda game yet. And if you have played Zelda games, then you should know what to expect.

Graphics 8/10
Very colorful. Everything looks fairly detailed and nice and big. The overworld is nice and big, and very attractive. But the charactors look a little plain. Overall this is an improvement over the original one.

Story 9/10
You are washed up on a mysterious island and you have no clue what is going on. An owl tells you that the Wind Fish is sleeping, so no one can go off the island. So to get off the island you have to wake him up. But some baddies are aware of this and cast a spell that keeps the Wind Fish asleep. The only way to break it is to recover seven magical music instruments, and play them in front of the Wind Fish. Interesting story, huh?

Sound 7/10
Very basic but good. The Sound Effects sound good, like a ''Whooop!'' when you jump and a ''Ouch!'' when something hits you. The music is catchy, very simialar to Pokemon, only with more life. Overall these sounds are basic but sound good.

Gameplay 10/10
Very fun! You wander through dungeons, complete a trading sequence to get a item, find Secret Seashells, (find 20 and something good will happen!) lay the Smackdown on some enemys and rescue an innocent person from a baddie. There is plenty to do if you don't know what to do next, like buy a new item or search for secrets. But something about this game that is diffrent from all the Zelda games is you can steal items from the store! If you time it right you can steal something when the Storeowner is not looking! But the next time you enter the store, the storeowner will shoot you with some kind of ray gun, killing you. And all the traditional Zelda items are here, the bow and arrow, the Hookshot, the Firerod, Bombs, the Pegasus boots, Magic Powder amoung others. So in other words this is a great game!

Controls 10/10
It depends, because you can customise the Controls! You can equip and Sword, or any other item, to ''A'' and equip a Bomb, or any other item, to ''B''. So you can customise controls, increasing the enjoyment.

Replay Value 8/10
When your done you can find more Secret Seashells, upgrade your Sword, (or any other item,) find more Heart Pieces, amoung more. So this should last you some time.

Challenge 10/10
There are SEVEN Challenging dungeons. That should last you a week, at least.

Buy or Rent?
Buy as soon as you can. You won't regret it.
