Rampage World Tour
Review by Boris_Fan_279
"Well.......it's not that bad! sord of."
This is a crappy port to the game Rampage World Tour for the gameboy color.
Gameplay 6/10
The same thing for every Rampage game. Destroy all the buildings in the city to advance to the next city, then do it again, except it's certainly not as fun for this port. You can choose one of three monsters. (Really, do I have to say their names?) Your goal is to destroy the 16 ScumLabs buildings. Theres 128 levels, I think, though I could be wrong.
Controls 9/10
The controls are pretty simple, and believe it or not, they actually work! Press the control pad to move, press B to punch, press A to jump, and press select to kick.
Graphics 2/10
Very..........bad. Just bad. The monsters look....gross. George looks like poop, Lizzie looks like a buggar, and Ralph looks like.....well, I guess there isn't really anything that gross about what Ralph looks like. The people are KIND of good looking, but they mostly suck. The buildings are really the only things that look any good, and even THEY look a little lazy.
Music 3/10
There's only one tune in the whole game.........I think, but it isn't really that good sounding, and every time you do something, such as punching a building, the tune is interrupted. The tune is from the original Rampage World Tour.
Sound effects 2/10
Very high pitched. But one thing that intrigues me is how there's sound effects for almost everything except for.........buildings crumbling to their intimate doom!! ehem. What I mean is when you destroy a building, there's nothing but silence. there no sound when you destroy a building, which is kind of weird and lazy.
Plot 7/10
The same thing from Rampage World Tour, but I'll type it down anyways. Three employees of a company called ScumLabs, have an accident with certain chemicals, and mutate into gigantic monsters, and want to get revenge on ScumLabs, so the trio decide to destroy city after city trying to find ScumLabs buildings, and destroy them.
Replay Value 4/10
You wont be coming back to this game that many times.
Differences:
The graphics are worse, the gameplay experience is worse, the music is worse, there's less things that you can eat, and you cant destroy buildings from the tops of them.
Extras 0/10
What extras?
Rent or buy?
Don't do either of the two. Just get the N64 or PS1 versions.
