"Worth More Rupees Than You Can Imagine!"

The Zelda series has risen to a new high! This colorful game (Well, it was released on the Gameboy Color) is one of the best Gameboy games ever! It really allows you to have fun while exploring the OOA world in the past and present, thus making the game more of a challenge to those who are looking for it. And of course, there's no such thing as a Zelda game that doesn't have some sort of mind-bending puzzle or some extremely hard to find solution.
My friend the other day was having trouble with the DS version (Phantom Hourglass) and couldn't find a way to blow out candles. The answer was simply to blow into the microphone! Of course, she didn't know this and spent approximately a week to figure it out. That's why I love the Zelda games. They require more than just lust for violence. You need to stop and think for a moment and say: 'Wait a sec, why don't I use bombs to blow this door up' rather than getting angry and not playing the game for a while.
Capcom! Other than Eidos, you guys are my favorite gaming engineers ever! Who would of thought that such a survival - horror type gaming community could create such a E rated game! A good one at that, I must say. I am not a big fan of Nintendo, except for the old consoles like Snes (Zelda 3 - A Link To The Past = Great Fun), and N64, which also had some really good titles (Legend Of Zelda - Arcania of Time for the win!).
Now, why did I give Oracle Of Ages a 9?
LOOKS GREAT! 8
This puzzling adventure had the kind of cartoon/compact graphics that me and every other player of this game adore. It really is good how when you destroy leaves that you actually see them crumble into smaller leaves and into the ground.
SOUNDS EXCELLENT! 9
I love the music! It really sort of matches whats going on in the game or what's happening to you. Like in that bit with the really dreamy type music when you have to search for those 'hard' to find fairies at the start of Level 2 (before it crumbles to the bloody ground!).
PLAYS PERFECT! 10
This game might not have the same physics capabilities of Half-Life 2, due to the GBC's lack of 3D accelleration, but the gameplay overall is fantastic! Jump over that hole, pick that rock up and throw it, now you can talk to him, go over there and start level 4. And the mini-games are fun too! I just love appraising all those rings so I cannot die in 5 seconds, but with a 5 second delay, due to wearing a no-lightning damage ring and hopefully finding a heart after killing an annoying bat.
8 + 9 + 10, the average is a 9.
Overall, this is a great game and is a terrific way to pass time easily while also solving fun puzzles and using mystery seeds. I encourage you to buy Oracle Of Seasons if you haven't already (but then again, you'll probably never see that game again 'cos it is 2008, and we're all to busy trying to find a PC capable of playing Crysis to worry about anything else, aren't we?)
It deserves the 9 I gave it. As the title says, it's worth more rupees than you can imagine!
Great work Nintendo/Capcom !
